booth Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Looks like Brereton left Diaz at home. Still blighted by being light in defence. 2 Quote

Roverthechimp Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 TBF we did get control of the game after the change of formation. Buckley gave the ball away more or less centrally, Pickering slipped and Kaminski could/should have done better. Don't blame the formation but we really do look like we have a massive hangover from saturday... Quote

Exiled in Toronto Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Well, plenty to get annoyed at there. Shame for Bucko as he was just starting to dominate when he gave up the ball. Hopefully, he’ll learn from that. Gallagher though, what a fkin useless donkey, couldn’t even get a job on Blackpool Beach. And I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to be in the trenches with Rothwell. I’d like to know why Ruffalo hasn’t been clattered - they have been bullying us. Quote

BigBar Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 It's been a very poor half, ragged all over the pitch. Nothing controlled or assured. No creativity or spark. Very very disappointing. Quote

That touch that took the ball out of play was really poor but on the whole he’s been one of our livelier players. Nyambe going off and Magloire coming on was always going to be tough for us as well as going to the 5 at the back formation. Big ask now, snap your hand off for a point. 1 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 we always have a problem when tony has to think quickly after an emergency sub,he has`nt got a plan and the team shape goes haywire Quote
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Personally I thought we had enough problems when we were 4-3-3, we were very lucky not to be three down before Nyambe went off 2 Quote

What is annoying is that in a pre match interview on Talk Sport rather than give BBD some credit for his hat trick on Saturday he opted to big up Gallagher's imaginary qualities saying he wouldn't have liked to play against him when he was a centre half etc. Quite. He might have cracked a rib laughing. Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Buckley will always have a mistake like that in him due to his lack of physicality. His mistake aside though, we could easily have been a couple down beforehand. Quote
LDRover Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 I find it astounding that Gallagher can be a professional footballer with that first touch. He struggles with even the most basic of 10 yard passes to feet. 1 Quote

booth Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Huddersfield have smelt blood here. I've zero confidence in that defence. 1 Quote

But yeh I don't think he has been so bad overall that he needs hooking yet. It would help if he hadn't been stupidly wedged into one of the least suitable positions for him on the pitch...again. booth Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Huddersfield look decent at the back. I can't see us getting anything out of this. Rovers look a mistake away from 2-0. Quote
davulsukur Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Substitution bingo. We have: Edun Clarkson Poveda Butterworth 1 down, need a goal, a spark, a game changer. Whats the chances? Clarkson and Edun on Butterworth and Poveda getting splinters in their backsides. Quote
