I can see us slipping down to 15th or lower before we finally start picking up more points. We'll then go on another brief winning run, getting within touching distance of 6th before falling away again. And that's probably an optimistic prediction.

No "Arte", no "Labore". What's the latin for "sitting on your arse and sucking your thumb"?

Whatever it is it's a good candidate for a new club motto. Thanks TM!

A striker that can bang them in for us at one end, and a hapless defence to more than make up for it at the other end. Tony Mowbray's Blackburn Rovers.

It would be unnacceptable to any owner other than Venkys.

Proper owners would be asking questions.

How did we get into this position where Blackpool could roll us over so easily?

Answers.

Loans out the only cover we have for Nyambe so has to play a guy who was terrible in the last game, out of position.

Continues to play £5m Gallagher out of position, who isn't even a superstar in his chosen position.

Plays a small wide player as our main striker.

Loans an injured CB.

I think we were 4-2-4 today. F***ing bizarre.

Match was lost in the first 25 minutes..... why were Rovers so lethargic and pitiful?

Gallagher got hooked early which indicated Mowbray wasn't happy with him over something

The gentle decline down the table continues

Gallagher went off 'injured'. Personally don't think he fancied it down 2-0.

Standard Mowbray stuff really. Could be at the start of a big death spiral but then win 5 in a row. All pointless really. I also have little sympathy with those getting a little giddy after the Cardiff game. There’s nothing to be positive about with Mowbray at the helm.

What can you expect, they’re a premier league team.

What can you expect, look at their crowds compared to ours.

What can you expect, look at their budget,

Gallagher's touch ffs. First time I think he's touched the ball in the last 20 minutes and it bounces nearly half the pitch off his shin.

Gentle touch of a serial rapist.

The thing is he didn't have to play Magloire. There were other options. Travis or even Bucko could have played there at a stretch and been replaced by others in midfield. Not ideal, but may have worked. Mowbray has zero creativity or nous, though, and we all knew he'd pick the worst option which was to just stick with what he did last time, irrespective of how badly it went.

I'm sure Edun could have played there.

To be fair the team were trying to get to grips with a right side of the pitch consisting of Magloire and Gallagher. What tit would ever think that was a good idea against any team. Only one.

Playing out of position and behind Gallagher. I'd rather eat crushed glass.

Magloire was condemned to failure by being selected to play and then kicked in the nuts.

How to crush a player the Mowbray way.
