lraC Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 This is a picture of Kenny Dalglish arriving at Ewood yesterday. It seems to have slipped under the radar. Does anyone know what it was about? 414142C6-EB49-426E-8A4C-8D23C8375321.MOV 2 Quote

Popular Post Wheelton Blue Posted November 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2021 I can imagine Mogga fuming at the sight of Kenny visiting Ewood. 'It's not 1995 any longer, you know. I've got a journey to finish'. 20 Quote

JHRover Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 It's not 1995 anymore yet we're inviting the emblem of that era Dalglish down to Ewood and we are assembling a 'mosaic' on the JW stand of the title win. Always good to see people like Dalglish back at Ewood but imagine he is as shocked as the rest of us as to what has become of the place. 8 Quote
tomphil Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 He's probably been wheeled in by some agency to tell us all what great job everyone is doing. Be quiet humble Rovers fans and be grateful football powerhouses like Fulham only put 7 in and not 9 !!! Quote
booth Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Get him back in the dugout! He's two years younger than Warnock. Quote
oldjamfan1 Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I don’t know how true this is but someone told me he had come over for a funeral or memorial of some sort? Quote

Popular Post Gav Posted November 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) If you wanted to get sections of the fanbase back onside you'd go all out to embrace the past, go overboard and that doesn't only extend to putting a bedraggled Colin Hendry in the away shirt. You're breaking no FFP rules by bringing legends back to the club, its a blank canvas for me, but nobody at the club has the vison, nobody at the club seems to care, its just a job. We have billionaire brothers that have offices within a few miles of the ground, the sponsorship potential is off the scale, does anyone at the club even know they exist? I'm digressing but you get the picture, its not all about mid table championship mediocrity, so much more could be and should be being done. Edited November 10, 2021 by Gav 10 Quote
tomphil Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Vs would rather pour their money via their corporate accounting through the club and down the tubes than have any local billionaires money actually helping the club. We can afford it therefore we aren't bothered is their tagline, meanwhile the club scrimps and saves every penny at ground level. 1 Quote
