This is the most I’ve liked a Rovers team since the Hughes era, and that back 3 are amazing. Talk about grinding out a win plus a real class goal from nothing thanks to Bucko, Khadra and Diaz.

Full credit to the team here for actually avoiding a booking. Showed great composure to get it over the line.

The entire back 5 was absolutely fantastic and deserved the clean sheet. Diaz brilliant again.

Really starting to believe this could be our season finally. What a team!

Horrible condition but we found a win with a bit of class from Brereton. What a header - totally deserving of a derby winner. We need him to stay in Jan!

Massive result!!

Brereton Diaz showed today why he's such a good striker. With him, Dack coming back next month and hopefully some good new player coming in we have a massive chance. Wharton has been immense since his return. Bournemouth here we come.

Have to say that Preston side wasn't that bad. Tough team that will get results in the league. Good win!

Huge credit to Mowbray he has found a formation that makes us look very formidable. 

I thought Pickering was class, Rothwell, Lenihan ,Van Hecke, everyone basically and what can we say about Brereton now. Top top player 

Enjoyed that one and I didn't even bite my nails near the end

Brereton has got a big future ahead of him. Hope we can hold onto him for a while.
