One thing that got me thinking. If Burnley but not Rovers progressed to the next round of the FA Cup, and the game between between the two sides got postponed, would it be a possibility to move the Reading mid-week fixture to the weekend? Would much rather a home game on a Saturday 3:00 instead of a Wednesday 8:00 for example.

No.

Reading play Hull on the same weekend we're scheduled to play Burnley. Why would all parties agree to move that so Reading can travel to Ewood instead?!

Ahh yeah I forgot to check if Reading was playing already or not. Got ahead of myself.

Teams already through:

Mighty Rovers, Man City, Brighton & Fulham.

Matches tonight:

I'm guessing Burnley, Soton, ManU and Spurs will get through (but you never know obviously). The draw is after the Sheff U v Spurs game.

Whoever we get will be a tough game.

90 mins from Wembley. Unthinkable under Mowbray.

Either Fleetwood or Grimsby pls

Failing that let's go and beat Spurs away and eat their cheese room dry.

😁I knew they had a micro-brewery, but a cheese room?!

Agreed though, if it's a tough fixture anyway I'd like to go to their ground.

For what it's worth, last years QFs were played on:

Saturday 17:15

Sunday 12:30 15:00 18:00

and in 2021

Saturday 12:15 17:30

Sunday 13:30 17:00

So hopefully we're not going to get too messed around with a Friday night match or similar. Would love a 5pm Saturday slot!

JDT cup wins… 6

TM in 5 years… 7 (than includes 1st/2nd round FA Cup wins in League 1 season).

Disgrace.  A good cup-run was always great for morale and 5 years of middling nothing.

Forgotten what it was like till last night.

What after the way we played last night ?

I get that but last night's performance was out of the ordinary. I absolutely hate to say this but b*ly are consistently comfortably better than us.

They wouldn’t have lived with us last night.

After getting the Burnley game moved due to the FA cup victory (I'm glad about that as I'm at a stag do that weekend) we may well end up playing them anyway in the cup.

I'm in a similar position. Going away the Sunday morning so I was first gutted the derby was moved to Sunday, then delighted last night meaning it'll be moved, but now I'm dreading missing an FA Cup QF....which could even be against that lot after all.

Get that draw done tonight and the dates/time sorted (preferably Saturday 18th for us) asap. Oh and come on Fleetwood!
