For venkys to leave, we either go into administration or we get a buyer. Would ideally avoid the former. We'd be a much attractive purchase in the premier league.

We need to prioritise tying down some existing under contract players and adding a few lads that have been here on loan. Time to strike when the iron is hot. Need to get Rothwell, Lenihan and Nyambe sorted. How much extra is someone gonna offer them 5k extra a week? Is that worth the gamble on replacing them and the hassle. Can't keep cheaping out.

Khadra should be offered a deal and everything should be done to get him in full time. Van Hecke seems to be loving his football here and will only have a year left on his deal when he finishes his loan. Given what Tosin went for he would hardly break the bank.

Can't be reckless but has to be some forward planning done and backing to match.

What the f*ck is going on? How are we here? Well done to Mowbray and the players, I hope they continue to prove me/us all wrong...

 

My take is... Everyone simply doing their jobs, players in the right positions, we've increase the numbers at the back to stop conceding goals, we've never had a problem scoring goals. F*cked off this idea of possession football and just focused on getting the best out of what we have instead of trying to make it something it's not.

 

P.S. Joe Rothwell is one of the best players in the league. Top 10 easy.

How many times in the recent past have we seen teams come to Ewood and basically just want it more ? They ran further, worked harder, looked more organised and enthusiastic and had a better shape. We had the skill but not the application. It’s great to see the shoe on the other foot at long last. That’s what we had this afternoon and long may it continue. All I ever ask of a Rovers team is that they don’t leave anything out on the pitch. Just give 100%. That’s what these lads are doing.

Parker and. Bournemouth fans talking as if the first goal is definitely offside. They must have seen a different angle than on all the footage I’ve seen.

Its tight but the defender behind Lenihan’is is the deepest and may be playing him on, and Diaz may well be in front of the defenders but may be behind Lenihan’s head when he heads the ball. You can’t pause the footage and get a conclusive answer.

In all seriousness, it takes some strong CEO work now. Get the tickets priced well. Flood the ground with anything to improve support, make home games hell for away teams. Commit what is needed to keep this side together. Spend what is needed to get them over the line. Roll the dice, have some belief.

If you want your last paragraph - attacking the fans is not the answer, is it? Ask yourself why crowds have dwindled....you know what, fck it, this is for another thread - many of which are there - go be cause division in the fanbase there.
