Should have had a goal disallowed. Shouldn’t even be playing this match today. They’ve played the system and been rewarded. Edited January 19, 2022 by booth 3 Quote

Granted the ref has fucked us right over tonight but we can't just blame that. Feared the worst when I saw Travis wasn't playing, not sure why either Johnson or Davenport weren't picked. Huge test for Tony and the team now or a very bleak February awaits... just the usual Mowbray death spiral. It’s a common thing. Edited January 19, 2022 by Dan Quote

benhben Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) Hull finishing the better side. To be fair to them they've pressed high and scrapped all game. Our midfield has been non existent this game. Completely overrun. Hope this isn't a return to normal standards... To get top 2 we need more goals other than Diaz. joey_big_nose Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Why did we bring Buckley off for Johnson? Madness. 6 Quote
yankfan Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Ref F’ed the match but TM got it wrong from the start. Gally back out wide, Buckley and Rothwell set deep. Couple that with both backs and our most defensive mid out it’s no wonder this is the result. 1 Quote
Devon Rover Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 I'm worried about chances of playoffs now, never mind automatic. Really concerning selection and 'performance'. The referee has beaten us but, for me, Hull have played the better game, anyway. Not great for confidence. 3 Quote
neophox Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 we are so crap today...no edge at all... Quote
bluebruce Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Against some very, very tough competition, I think we can all agree this is the worst ref performance of the season so far. Quote
Danny O.Brien Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 This result has been brewing for the last few games. Let's hope we get a good reactions against a decent boro side. Mauled by the tigers, totally wicked. 1 Quote

You doing the ironing while you watch? Stats definition of a shot and mine are different. When did we almost score apart from Khadra ? Quote
jim mk2 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 The Wigan game was a pointer..... gave that one away and we've been poor ever since. Quote

Well said. I can't help feeling this will be the start of a death spiral that'll see us finish in 10th, though 4 Quote

Ok, you make your own definitions on such commonly agreed upon terms as 'shot' and redefine it to mean 'almost scored' if you want. 2 Quote
Giant Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 This was a game when we hit a perfect storm of events:- New owner bounce for Hull Sky main event for all the country to see Missing our key wing backs Horrendous new logo on our shirts Two terrible refereeing decisions BBD out of form Terrible performance on our part 5 Quote
superniko Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 The curse of the sponsor. Bring back recoverite!!! 1 Quote
Torgeir Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Ayala needed to start this one, he's all up for a fight with Eaves. Knows all the tricks in the book as well. Referee has been conned on their second and how Breo wasn't given a penalty I don't know. The referees at this level are absymal. Edun is not much better than Bell. Gallagher has been poor, and too soon for JRC. Better second half though up until their con goal. Quote
Paul Mani Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Hasn’t been our night… Poor first goal, then denied a penalty and missed a couple of good chances. Their second goal is a free kick…complete clusterfuck Mowbray at fault for changing the formation and starting Gally (Honestly don’t know what he does). It has been brewing…need a reaction now! 3 Quote

We need to revert back to type ASAP, we need someone to stand in for Ben whilst he’s in Chile and we need him come back as Diaz. 2 Quote
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Sky commentary is pants - referee decisions totally change the complexion of the game - idiots 2 Quote
Beanie01289 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Ref has screwed us here but we need 1 or two midfielders so short in there change in formation has not helped in the slightest Quote
