oldjamfan1 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I’m getting slightly worried by all these 5-0 predictions. I think it will be an attritional game tonight. Hopefully we can continue with the clean sheets though which always gives us a chance of nicking all three points with one swift counter attack. 5 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 The BBE looks virtually sold out on the ticket buying thing. JW looks about 2/3 full, Riverside the usual. Should be around 15k on tonight I reckon. 4 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 getting excited now😁,lets have six points and demolish the pie lashers next saturday, for the first time in a decade, there is genuine excitement and expectation going into a new footballing year😊 1 Quote
windymiller7 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 A win of any description will do just nicely! Would love a 5-0 obviously, but will quite happily take a scrappy, hard fought 1-0. For me, the biggest thing is another clean sheet. I think I'd be happier with a 2-0 rather than, say a 4-2. 5 Quote

pomster Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 (edited) Too many people are getting carried away with themselves on the results, some fans are taking thumpings for granted. If we’re not careful Karma states it’l come around and bite us on the arse I’m happy for a win with a clean sheet and no injuries or bookings .... ding dang do COYB Edited December 29, 2021 by pomster Quote
arbitro Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Rovers are, quite rightly unchanged. 6 Quote

Obviously our level is significantly below either of those teams - but the lesson is the same. 2 Quote

I think these predictions are based on the fact that nearly every player has scored an 8 , 9 or 10 during the last few games, so 6 or 7 of the team would have to go from an 8 to a 5 or 6 for us not to win. Possible, but unlikely. I am of course aware of what has happened at this point of a winning sequence over the last few seasons, but performances haven't been this consistently good for maybe 15 years, or longer? If we don't win, it will be some game, and we need to enjoy it, I suppose. See you there, can't wait. 1 Quote
neophox Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Hopefully same team as last time around. Getting ready for the game. Quote

But they are on 14 points, so we should be giving them a good spanking 👋👋 if we are to go up. Quote
MarkBRFC Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 All these 5-0 predictions are definitely coming back to bite us. Cant help but think of us beating Newcastle twice during the season we were relegated from this league. Throws up strange results this league. Quote
1864roverite Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 You are right by your suggestion ulrich but this is football this is Rovers and how many times have we seen our team fold in these types of games ? It’s huge for us tonight let’s just hope we are positive and get a positive result Quote
Aqualung Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I'll be tuning into Rovers TV shortly. Got a couple of Swedish guys visiting who I hope to convert. Ones a IFK Gothenburg supporter and the other a Halmstad Bk supporter. Both think Swedish football is shit and having seen a few live games myself, I couldn't agree more. COYB. 1 Quote
