Funny you mention that…. I’ve just seen on socials that the vile man who organised that (apparently a close friend of a certain Tommy Robinson) is in Naples for tonight’s match with a “Diego’s In A Box” St George’s Cross flag.
Given the reputation of fans in Naples, he might not be around to participate in our 2k allocation anyway.

Probably the same one…

They are going to have to decide whether they’re boycotting or taking over the home stands.

Sounds like a family meeting will need to be arranged.

They’ll be telling the story for years to come about this 50/50 divide in the fanbase… how a quarter of a million boycotted, and a quarter of a million were dotted around the home ends.

We’ve both forgotten about the ones watching it on a screen at Turf Moor…

Whoever made the decision to reduce their allocation to 2,000 has played an absolute blinder.

Their reactions are hilarious. Utterly hilarious.

i don`t think it has anything to do with us,swag would have given them the whole of the darwen end and whacked up the price if it was his decision, more likely the police have got involved with it being a night match and a potential inbred celebration, fecking hilarious though innit😆

What Alan Pace doesn’t tell you is that Burnley fans simply cannot behave themselves. They will not be bubbled, and there will be 8k of them, with history telling us that they destroy everything within its path

There hasn’t just been a small minority saying it, there’s a majority of Burnley fans, on social media, openly gloating about “tearing Blackburn up” or whatever

They aren’t the nicest of fans, as simple as that really

And why should we give them 7/ 8k? It is hardly comparable. Their stadium is tiny. We might want the Darwen End for ourselves 😃

That's correct arbitro.

@only2garnersto set the record straight, can you advise from the various meetings surrounding this fixture how & why the decision for 2k tickets was reached and why they opted to use the lower tier rather than the upper? Cheers.

No, because I haven’t been involved with any meetings to discuss the home game. We spoke about the game at the last Forum but the club said that the numbers had not been agreed at that time.

I and the chair of the Forum went to a meeting with police, both clubs and fan reps from both clubs before the Turf Moor game and there is another planned for the home game but no date yet.

Unless I’ve missed something, the post you quote is talking about the Blackpool allocation at Preston.

A few weeks back Waggott told members of the Rovers Trust board that the primary reason for this was that they see our home form as being key to securing a playoff spot, and they want to give the team every advantage they can.

No specific discussions around what tier they were going in, but he told us they were getting less tickets than they gave us, and that Burnley were not happy with him and it categorically was not a police decision.

Not often I say this...well done Mr Waggott.

In which case do it to Norwich, Coventry and Luton.

I wonder if got a ticket in the home end? Or caused ‘trouble’ around Naples?

Obviously if anything happens it’s Italy and Napoli’s fault not his 😂😂😂

I don't know why their is such an outcry. I remember in the 80s when Burnley wer getting less than 2000 at home games..2000 should be ample at Ewood...

And they wonder why they’re only getting 2,000 for the derby…

Morons.

Without wanting to get into politics on here, he’s the one who flew the infamous banner over Turf Moor. Rumours that loads of Italians are after confronting him too. Would be no less than the absolute cretin deserves.

No chance they were getting all the Darwen end with unrestricted travel.

To those that moaned about the buses and now can't get a ticket, well done.
