Turn it in ffs this game will make no difference whatsoever to the budget set by India, this is a CEO remember who will have let around 25 mill of talent walk for nothing once BBD has left.

For a start not everybody would be paying £30

And an extra 5k fans would come at a bigger cost too - stewarding, bigger policing operation, retail staff, clean up

Of course there is also the simple fact you lot are strange people who can't behave themselves. You take great pride in damaging everything in your path - if you have a few dormant years you turn on your town. We've seen it before

You deserve the bear minimum. We shouldn't have to face the costs of 7,000 coming because your shite ground can only fit a tiny amount of fans in, especially when you have shown you cannot be trusted and have some of the most deplorable fans in the country - either shaming the nation with tragic flags over a dead man or otherwise

And obviously the extra 5k wouldn’t be paying £30 as plenty of concessions, so it would probably be about 100k of potential sales lost.

These Dingles obviously think Venky’s are like Andy Holt in which every penny from big away followings count. They won’t bat an eyelid, these are owners that have literally turned down millions for players on a regular basis and are happy for them to walk out for nowt.

I don't think the players are too worried about people shouting at them - I'm not sure why the Burnley fans seem to have this feeling that they're a particular scary/intimidating bunch that our players cannot handle. If anything, the decision was out of spite (you gave us 2k (for good reason), you get the same), a slight competitive advantage (whilst it isn't a case of not wanting too many people shouting at them, it's still arguable that a greater % of home fans has its advantages) and just out of caution - more fans = more trouble, particularly if you can win the league. 7,000 was always pie in the sky, and whilst the other 6 points are just as importance points wise, it's unlikely any of those sides will bring 7,000 anyway. Plus, the players endure enough shouting from some of our more impatient fans, let alone that of the opposition....

My personal thought was that I'd have given the same percentage (10% or so), but I'm also not remotely sad to have less people than usual gleefully chanting about the death of Jack Walker in the away end. I am not tarring everyone with the same brush and I'm fully aware we have our idiots, but that's usually one of the most vocal chants and I won't be sad to hear it a bit quieter than usual.

They probably should have been given 3k to make it fair and cut the injustice argument about percentage of capacity.

That wouldn't have made a big difference to any potential effect on the game with two thousand upstairs and the rest downstairs.  There'd still be hysteria and injustice screamed but no accusations about breaking any 10% rules and all that.
