tomphil
They'll probably settle down and get a few wins but i did warn their slavering WUMs on twitter that Kompany's style would struggle in the Prem. He isn't Dyche who was a master of survival football for years but big Vinny thinks he's doing a Pep. It's a beautiful sight so far.

philipl
With a bit of luck it will be October before they get their first point. They will kick themselves for not accepting reversing that Luton fixture. Edited August 29, 2023 by philipl

Backroom Silas Posted August 31, 2023 Backroom Share Posted August 31, 2023 Not that it matters massively but that is absolutely not a brick thrown at the bus: My guess is a metal water bottle as you can hear it ting and bounce. I realise it's a me issue, but does wind me up how the whole World is reporting 'brick thrown at bus' when literally 2 mins investigation would show that's not the case. Also, could the police not try and recover the object as it could have fingerprints and DNA on that a brick wouldn't.

Potentially as many as six fingerprints on the recovered object, so presumably more chance of identifying the culprit.

SIMON GARNERS 194
Charging over £10 for a luke warm Hollands Spud Pie and a Pint of Lager at the Turd by all accounts..feck me! Flogging 'no nay never' Caps...desperate on all levels atm😂😂😂 Edited September 3, 2023 by SIMON GARNERS
Norbert Rassragr
I do wonder if Burnley might do an Everton and just about survive as there are 3 worse teams. Luton are an obvious team to go down but there is Everton, Sheffield United and Wolves who may be in the mix.

I follow an account on facebook called footy scran i think it is. You see some real awful rubbish on there often at the top two tier grounds but by contrast there is some real good stuff and value for money stuff lower down the leagues. Just shows the lazy corporate greed world of the top divisions run by half arsed execs. If lower clubs and skint clubs can offer some decent grub at an affordable price why can't the 10 million to 500 million turnover clubs ?

DeeCee
Proper Cornish (TM) pasties on sale at Argyle, made near me, worst pasties in the county - except Ginsters, £3.90 in the shops, £5 .50 in the concourse 🙄

My granddad worked for a rival Rossendale bakers (Cordeys I think) and taught us this as kids: Hollands Pies, full of flies Concrete bottom, rubber sides Rusty meat and iron jelly All to go inside your belly Happy memories!!

The bottom 5 could well be adrift by Xmas , a mini league will begin.
LeftWinger
Well they've spent a fortune, not got a single point so far, conceded 11 goals in 3 home games and hard to see where their first points are coming from. £19m on a keeper that hasn't played above League One level. Idea for their commercial department: Sell season tickets for their away end. I don't think they tend to play at home at the same time as Rovers', so I could go and sit in the away end every time they play and have a great time.
JohnD
Since relegation they've spent £132m on transfer fees plus agents, wages etc. Premier league, you're having a laugh 😂
