I'm getting worried by our recent tendency to not put away our chances. Our efficiency in front of goal has been a huge part of our great run.

For me the quality of the final ball hasn't been as good as well. You can't rely on Brereton to score another 20 goals though, we need another decent striker who can chip in.

Today is a hell of an advert for a settled back 5! Missing Wharton and Nyambe big time

Don’t think Van Hecke and Ayala are suited to playing together. One or the other.

Wigan haven't had a sniff.

Yet we’ve still looked shaky at the back, got two of them on yellows, and aren’t attacking out from the back with our usual threat.

Travis really should have put us one up 2 min in. With that much space it should have been easy to put that ball on goal from 35 out.

I was thinking about this, if he had just treated it like a pass I'm sure it would have reached where it needed to go.

Hopefully Lenihan is ok or it will have been a very bad move to start him. Don't see why Carter isn't the replacement. Baffling subs from the manager, hope that's just him using the cup to dabble again, don't want that shit to creep back into his league management.

Bit of a nothing first half, should be in front. Terrible decision from Buckley when Ben had an open goal. Not sure what he was at.

A couple of games ago he passed when he should have shot and messed that up too. Probably on his mind.
