Trinidad Rover Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Our squad isn’t big enough for the league and the cup - today shows that clearly. Move on and hopefully we don’t have to play Wigan again for a long time. Quote
callumrovers Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 This loss in down to two comedy errors by Pears. We were cruising at 1-0. This isn’t on Mowbray. Pears need to take responsibility for this. He reminded me of Karius for Liverpool in the champions league. One mistake, fell to pieces. 1 Quote

WacoRover Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 What have we learned today? Its more about who we CANNOT rely on to get us promoted or to the playoffs. 2 Quote
pick32 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Three easy saves, let’s hope Pears hasn’t killed our momentum and season with that display 1 Quote
booth Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 (edited) Some embarassing performances. It's not that we've gone out, Wigan won't score two like that again for a while along with an absolute goalkeeping howler to add to it. It's the manner that several key players just haven't looked assed today. A reminder of how poor they can be. Missed Wharton, Pickering, Nyambe and Kaminski today but the ones replacing them should have done much better. Edited January 8, 2022 by booth Quote

Doogs Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Pears is the worst goalie i have ever seen.....Also did Rothwell play? He goes missing for long periods. 3 Quote

yankfan Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse performance in goal. Not even from school boys that are 4 foot tall. 1 Quote

Ossydave Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Absolute disaster of a day. A loss A goalkeeping horror show worse than any I've ever seen Injuries to 1 key player and another who perhaps isn't as key but still needed in Gallagher. Sure Van Hecke was limping too? Wasn't gonna have a drink but hell fire after that 😳 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 8, 2022 Moderation Lead Posted January 8, 2022 I’m not sure why I thought it would be any different tbh, local away game with a big following, we don’t win these games. Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Is Kaminsky actually fit but just being rested today? Hard to see any way back for Pears after that. Quote
Butty Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Not arsed we’ve lost really. Be a quick one to get over this one. Pears had a day from hell it is what it is. Never expect anything from Wigan away anyway, we’ve not won there since 2007 😳 Quote
