Jeez if you think our lack of goals is down to Wharton give your head a wobble 🤠

Even the centre halves need to score in a top side..

Need to learn how to score from set pieces.. misses a sitter today

Wharton played well overall, but needs to learn how to head a ball In the right direction at set pieces.

Back to 4-3-3 please, Khadra and Dolan either side of the donkey if Breo is out

i thought the 3/5/2 suited us better, buckley was in his best position,in an advanced midfield spot, rothwell was marauding forwards and we had two strikers buzzing all over the place

Missed the game as I was playing footy but on the face of it a 0-0 doesn't seem like the worst result but thats purely because I don't know how the game went.

Got back to see Dolan clear on off the line though!

Good point really, a fair result too. Becomes a great point if we follow it up with a win on Saturday.

Hope BBD is OK.

Who was the ref? Was by far the best I've seen all season.

Maja for Stoke is doing well. Is that 2 or 3 goals he’s scored so far. TM didn’t want to sign him because he thought he would be too rusty, so he gets nobody. What a genius!!

He hasn't got big enough balls to try something like that, the number of times we've been close to signing another decent forward. Then left it alone and gone for another utility type or two is ridiculous.

Imo he's terrified of having to relegate Gallagher to a regular bench man, exactly where he should be and where he does his best work from.

Positive thought for the night, at least TM didn’t have the Bowyer team. Gestede left wing, Rhodes right and Jason Lowe false 9.

One of the best results of the season, especially doing so without Ayala and Lenihan.

I expected a defeat tonight, but Mowbray and the lads didn’t let us down.

Tremedous support, safe journey home the lot of you.

Onwards and upwards.

If you've seen any of our last few games then you've basically seen tonight's game as well. Long stretches where we looked hopeless, interspersed with periods which briefly remind us that the team who got to second are still out there somewhere. We are just badly down on confidence at the moment and it seems to be affecting the entire team, and as tends to be the case under the current manager when that happens it takes a long time before we bounce back.

The only real difference between this spiral and our previous ones is that we actually have a solid defence this time around, so we're picking up draws and scabbing the occasional win, such as Boro.

A number of failings in the side, including, sub full backs not performing, Gallagher played out of position and Buckley, really, out of position too.

These need addressing and, in addition, I think Jack Vale needs to be turned to as a striker presence. We await Dack's return and Hedges justifying his transfer fee but Vale is in good form for the U23s and an option we seriously need to consider to try and add some goal threat.

Today was not a good day for Vale.

Nyambe man of the match, think he deserves that probably.

Nyambe had a great game but I had Wharton as man of the match - he didn’t put a foot wrong and can pass the ball out.

Dont think Vale is ready yet as Rankin-Costello also needs some games for U23s...

Think Both Khadra and Dolan looked lively coming on.
