Commentator is terrible. Just said he was booked for fouling the Swansea player. Highly doubt it, ref thinks he dived. If you don’t mind me asking, how are you watching this game. I can’t get access on Rovers TV. I’m in Luxembourg. Quote
LDRover Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Need to play balls into feet into midfield rather than going back to front all the time Edited February 5, 2022 by LDRover 1 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Apart from the Boro game, we have now been awful / hopeless in every game of 2022. Quote
BigBar Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Ben had to start and this isn't with the knowledge of hindsight. He's a young lad and fit as a flee...madness. 1 Quote
booth Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 This is turgid, we've been looking uninspired since Pickering got injured. 2 Quote

We should have got either an attacking midfielder or a forward to cover him, especially with Gallagher being injured. 2 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 I'd take Zeefuik and Buckley off. Put on Khadra and Brereton. Shift Giles back to LWB. 5 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Nowhere near the quality required. 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted February 5, 2022 Backroom Posted February 5, 2022 Another disappointing first half. Quite common these days unfortunately. Swansea are awful but we're so poor going forward that we haven't been able to take advantage of multiple gifts given so far. Defending for their goal was non-existent - wtf happened there? A big 45 coming up. If we can't lay a glove on this Swansea team then it doesn't bode well for the run in. 1 Quote
rovers11 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Have we actually strung a pass together in any of our games in 2022? It is truly a miracle we're anywhere near top 2. Chances of us coming back to win this? Zero to nil I'd say. 2 Quote
SoldierMo Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Awful games like this have to be won should have bought or started with a bloody striker 1 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Swans are pressing us hard whenever we have possession. While we just allow them to pass around when they have the ball. No urgency. Decent so far from Giles. Hedges just average. Bucko struts around like a diva. We can still win this. Get Breo and Khadra on. Quote
TheRoversReturn Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Good run from Hedges and a good ball through....absolutely nobody at all in the centre for him to even considering sliding it in for. If Buckley is supposed to be up front, then why was he hanging around near the halfway line watching? We desperately need BBD on at half time, not the bloody 60th minute. We need to still aim for the three points from today, they're there for the taking. 1 Quote
Tormund Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Swansea are there for the taking, we’re just not ruthless at the moment. 1 Quote
RTM08 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 You watch this dross and it's clear this team was riding momentum which has well and truly gone. Play like this for the rest of the month and you can forget about 6th, nevermind 2nd. Question is, has Tony got the nous to sort it? 4 Quote

Huddersfield was ok. We just didn’t score in that first half hour when we battered them. Other than that yeah agree we’ve been poor Edited February 5, 2022 by Hasta 1 Quote
booth Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 That was diabolical but we've no one up front for Swansea to fear. It's easy for them to commit players when we've literally no threat. 1 Quote
Darrenbot Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 A good manager would see this isn't working and change things at HT,let's see what Mowbray decides. Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 pardon my ignorance but is zeefuick actually left footed Quote
yankfan Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Really miss Dolan on this one. BBD, Dolan and Buckley press much better than Giles and Hedges. Last time Dolan absolutely dominated with his pace and effort. firmly believe we have a few in us today. Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Buckley should stay in the changing room, he's hopless tonight. Passing is off, touch is non existent and shooting... well. Can't have the key player in this formation be so off form. Edited February 5, 2022 by Angry_Pirate 2 Quote
lraC Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 I think Swansea are there for the taking. Brereton will notch if he comes on, which I think he will if we are still behind with 30 to go. I can see us winning this still if we switch the formation. 1 Quote
Devon Rover Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Well that was horrible. Pro's: Giles promising and set pieces suddenly a threat, Hedges movement decent, Nyambe defensively, no-one sent off yet, Swansea are awful. Con's: Buckley, Rothwell, defending for the goal, lack of actual striker = no goals, Nyambe offensively, will probably have someone sent off soon, we look awful. 1 Quote
