BigBar Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Joe needs to bury that ball when he's in behind the defence like that. So poor. Quote

rovers11 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Turgid stuff again. Absolutely no ideas going forward. Defence looking shaky too. This is more like the Rovers we've been used to over the past 10 years. Top 2 disappearing very quickly. Conceding the first goals means we won't win. Zeefuik has been woeful. 2 Quote
booth Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 And the defence is all over the place. How have we gone from so organised and cool to a nervy mistake making mess. Quote
davulsukur Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 We are absolutely wank. What's going on at the back here? 6 players run to the ball and NONE of them get there! 1 Quote
Fraserkirky Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Could do with something going in off an arse or something Can we also stop diving all over the place! It’s embarrassing Quote

Tugay-is-God Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Keep the faith lads, at least for a little while longer. Quote

des Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Could be wrong but the midfield look light weight and lacking pace also missed goal scoring chances dies tend to change games a but like the last night. Once again hope I am wrong but it look like being another one if those nights 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 My God that was terrible. As another poster so aptly put it, the one big question remaining now this season is can we hold onto 6th place? On 2022’s evidence - not a fecking chance. Quote

He does a pretty good job by himself to look bad. I've nothing against him I just think he isn't great and needs to come out of the team and stop being played no matter what. It's hard watching him as one of our attacking players and being so poor in front of goal when we need wins. These aren't half chances either, they are glaring misses on top of going missing in games too. Let's not try and create an agenda, if it was any other player I'd say the same. 1 Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 (edited) I think the “we are going up” rovers fans really are in for a shock over these next few weeks….we could literally be mid table in the next 5 games…. Getting abit sick of Buckley and these missed opportunities…we need Dack back and fast Edited February 9, 2022 by BankEnd Rover 1 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 58% Possession for us, we don't win when we have more possession, they obviously have us worked out. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Well, the manager who gratuitously dropped arguably our best defender is getting exactly what he deserved. Those of us supporters who want to see us give ourselves a chance by putting our best eleven players out on the pitch, not so much so. 2 Quote

jim mk2 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 It's going to take Tony's managerial and tactical genius to turn this one around. 2 Quote

I think the reality is we're overachieving and being found out... it was never going to last, this is why January was so important. It's a miracle we are where we are and had to take advantage of that by spending. We didn't, end of story. 6 Quote
pick32 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Nyambe and Dolan would be on for me replacing zeefuick and Buckley Quote
Fraserkirky Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Cooper is really good manager, way too clever 1 Quote
superniko Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 In fairness we’re creating the chances (same against Swansea). Buckley sitter, Rothwell great chance, Khadra has opened it up and fallen over a few times too. My concern is our defence reverting to type. We could have conceded 3 or more in that half very easily. Trinidad Rover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 (edited) I just feel utterly deflated and disappointed. The position we got ourselves in was brilliant. Since has been anything but and it feels like our own doing. I can’t see this side finishing in the top 6. We’ve lost the fundamentals and what got us into that position: - dynamic counter attack. Not basing our ‘game’ on possession. - clean sheets based on disciplined defence and defenders knowing their exact role - Brereton has dried up. Probably fatigue, maybe been found out - TM not being able to think and tinker The crap January window didn’t help. More of a concern is the gamble the club made in not cashing in. We will now lose 3 key players for nothing this summer and no doubt replace with lesser. This was the season to go up and unfortunately TM has blown it. He’s undone all of his good work in getting us there. Edited February 9, 2022 by Trinidad Rover Quote
neophox Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 We need a massive step up second half. This first half has Bern abysmal. Our wing backs been terrible.... just a waste. Cant say Forrest impressed me. Its Rovers that are totally lost. Time to step up big time.. Quote
