We won't cash in on Nyambe because we need him but we just won't play him instead. Mowbray is doing his level best to derail any promotion hopes by his stubborn refusal to play our best starting X1. bigbrandjohn Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 My brand new away shirt has been singularly unlucky. I an hoping that my brand new home shirt fares better today. Otherwise it is shopping trips only for both of them. Maybe it’s the Recoverite logo 🤔 1 Quote

It's annoying to see this notion be trundled out all the time that if they're fit for the bench they're fit for the full 90. It's entirely illogical. 20 minutes off the bench (or only being on the bench as an emergency resort, and ideally not coming on at all) is absolutely not the same thing as a full game of football. Not having a go at you at all, just that it doesn't add up but someone has to say it every time someone who normally starts but who isn't 100% fit makes the bench. Quote
slowmo Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Looking forward to seeing the same team but with attacking wb's . Good to have the option Quote
rovers11 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Good starting 11 and strong bench. Feeling more confident after seeing the team news. 4 Quote
rigger Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 I can see the reasoning behind Zeefuik over Nyambe. As for me, Nyambe is the best right full-back, but we play with wing-backs not full-backs. Let's see how Zeefuik performs at right wing-back. 1 Quote

He struggled with the pace of the game last time in my opinion. A good winger will do him everytime. We got to top 2 with RN and now Mogadon playing silly sods again...☹ bitchin. 1 Quote

den Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Forest will be buzzing and no doubt fly at us from the off. Its absolutely imperative that we’re ready for this and don’t allow them to dictate from the off. As ever with Rovers, first goal matters. 1 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Would be a massive result if we can get a win here, quietly confident Quote
Ossydave Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Happy with that team. Will be good to see Zeefuik in his actual position and what sort of attacking threat he offers. Shame there's Nyambe fan boys who'll be looking for him to make a mistake so they can rant 🥱 4 Quote
neophox Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Of course Zeefuick should get a chance at his favourable position at right back. If he does well he stays otherwise Nyambe will get a chance again. No time to dwell. Nyambe hasn't signed a new contract and could leave in the summer... 2 Quote
jim mk2 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 If Nyambe is fit then he should start; and if he's not fit he shouldn't be on the bench Bottom line is Nyambe should be one of the first picks and is the best right back in the club Well done Tony 2 Quote

It is a big call from TM - let's hope it is the right one 1 Quote
WacoRover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 The only question for me is Nyambe. otherwise, I’m happy with our 11 & bench. Quote
OsloRover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Let’s give Zeefuik a chance to show what he can do in his prefered position. Who knows he could be the dog’s nethers Quote

We need to go up THIS season and we have Nyambe until then. Why play an inferior player player in the meantime? Next season is a different matter if RN leaves. We all want 3 points. Shame there's Zeefuick fan boys who would prefer to see an unproven player who hasn't impressed thus far ahead of a proven player who has excelled for us though. 1 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Come on Rovers! Would love a win tonight. Quote
Hannoverover Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Watching the game on Roverrs TV. Hoping for a 2-0 win. BBD and Wharton Quote
Armchair supporter supremo Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 (edited) Well on paper that's our strongest starting 11 and even our strongest bench(minus dack) providing the 2 new wide players adapt well now they're in their natural positions Really need a win tonight to get us back on track Edited February 9, 2022 by Armchair supporter supremo Quote
