Hasta Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) If we were playing Hull I would say text and email all ticket purchasers if it is off, and then officially announce it at 2.45pm. Edited February 19, 2022 by Hasta 8 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted February 19, 2022 Backroom Posted February 19, 2022 Touch and go, it’s bad around the area right now but you’d think it will be fine by kick off but depends on how they factor in the travel Quote

It’s about the area surrounding the stadium. Quote

speedies gonna get ya. Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Not sure whether to set of or not. From Lancaster usually set off just after 1. Want to sett off earlier and take it steady. But waiting for result of pitch inspection. Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) What’s it like in Darwen ? Still snowing here in Rochdale but nothing like as bad as it was. Roads not too bad. Edited February 19, 2022 by Tyrone Shoelaces Quote
Hasta Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Who calls it off for road safety? The police I presume. I presume the conversation is currently "We can get the game on with this pitch, but we can't announce the pitch is OK only for you to call it off due to the roads in 30 minutes time" Quote
islander200 Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Cars are travelling fine down livesey branch road 1 Quote

Don’t fancy the M62 trip I have just done a return trip to Cleckheaton over M62 about 45 mins ago now in Shawforth looking for best route in to Blackburn and waiting for pitch inspection outcome .Snow as eased here but heavy traffic at Haslingden at the moment Quote
Hasta Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655524 You can see that big snow cloud on the map lower down on that page. Unless its hit Huddersfield Id be worried about the conditions coming over the M62. However Blackburn has had the worst of it and the temperatures are well above freezing. Quote
