We've plenty of short term big name signings youri djorkeyeff, basturk , hakan sukur, hakan unsal. Berkovic, 

Martin dahlin though longer term was a disaster.  Benni Mccarthy was a success till he threw his toys out the pram. Santa cruz was a good player but got found out at city
