Exiled in Toronto Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) I like that line up. Pacey forwards and against might Fulham we needed more steel in centre mid than Rothwell gives us. Edited March 5, 2022 by Exiled in Toronto Quote

CambridgeRover Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Johnson always plays badly against Fulham for some reason. Fingers crossed he puts in a shift today Quote

The positive is though he’s as quick with the ball as without it. I thought he did really well against QPR, we didn’t miss Rothwell driving us forward from deep or Buckley’s closing down - Dolan did both. 3 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 massive respect for anybody travelling down from blackburn for a stupid kick off time and enduring sky tv`s weird fixation with us i like the look of the team, sit deep and hit them on the counter with two speedy types.cmon rovers, get into em 1 Quote
BigBar Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Discipline and bravery the key to getting a result here today. Cannot afford to give the ball away cheaply. Mind it and trust your team mates. Come on lads! Quote
BigBar Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Fear a bit for Pickering today...he's looked poor to me anytime he has been faced with any sort of talent. Big game required. Quote
garnersfags Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 We will sit deep, but we'll have plenty of chances to get forward in the 1st half. A lot depends on how quickly Giles settles into a the formation. If we sit back for 90 minutes, we will lose. This team knows what it is doing, they are comfortable in possession, and a little composure in the final 3rd will pay dividends. Mitrovic v our back 3 is intriguing, but whether we can bring Giles into the attacking picture is the defining question. Here we go! Let's enjoy it! Quote

booth Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Giles upfront, didn't work so well last time due to no one to be on the end of his crosses. Hopefully better today. Quote
Gav Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) Great appreciation for the people of Ukraine, we support you 👍 Edited March 5, 2022 by Gav 1 Quote
New Jeru Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 I don't get the front three selection. Giles' main threat is crossing the ball, but how many headers are Dolan and Khadra going to win? 1 Quote
garnersfags Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Ok. That's Trav in the book soon! Stupid. Quote
jim mk2 Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Giles down the right ??? Tony overthinking it again Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Fulham players throwing themselves to the ground already. You're not in the PL yet, lads. 1 Quote
Displaced Rover Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Fulham have a crap fan base. Just full of tourists. Can only hear the Rovers fans. 1 Quote

Gav Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Great run by Giles, pity the finish wasn’t as good as the run. 1 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Promising attack from Giles, that. You just have to get at Tosin, he's a crap defender. Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) Totally lost Mitrovic there. Awful awareness. Edited March 5, 2022 by OldEwoodBlue 1 Quote
BigBar Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Zeefuick leaping like a salmon again. It helps winning those flick one more than you would think. Quote
RoverDom Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 If there's no one on the pitch to get on the end of crosses, Giles on the right makes sense, he can atleast get a shot away. 1 Quote
booth Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Amazing how minimal contact gives them a free kick yet an elbow in the face busting someone's nose gives nothing. Quote
