He's a PL CB, Brighton would be insane to let him go. Quote

Yikes. Need at least 2. RB's - Brown. Another needed. JRC is shit. LB's - Pickering. Edun is apparently better in CM and he's still shit. Another needed. CM's - Travis, Buckley. Yikes again. Need at least 2, if not 3. Wingers - Dolan, BBD, Markanday, Hedges. Not terrible, but you'd imagine BBD will be sold Central attackers - Gallagher, Dack, Vale. At least 2 needed. Dack backup and another out and out striker. May have missed some, but I don't think there's anyone glaringly missing from that. Best get cracking. It's a hell of a rebuild. Think you can have 5 loans in a matchday squad - suspect we'll lean heavily on that. Quote
Ghost7 Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Huddersfield did it without spending. I'd like to think we can get the same amount in and spend a bit of money. Quote
neophox Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Hugo Vetlesen is a young midfelder at Bodö/Glimt worth a watch..... scored the winner against Roma in an 2-1 win in april. 1 Quote

Not sure how the rules work, but he's yet to make his international debut if you don't count the U21s. Might make a work permit tricky. Quote

He should qualify due to playing a large amount of minutes for Bodo in the league, them winning the title and doing so well in the ECL with him playing a large % of the minutes in that too. I just calculated him to 16 points without an international cap using the below: https://worldfootballindex.com/2020/12/work-permits-premier-league-post-brexit-english-clubs-efl-libertadores/ 1 Quote
Neal Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 (edited) Wonder if JDT will ask about Colak who scored a load of goals for him including a brace against Rangers. Currently at PAOK but not getting much game time. Edited June 14, 2022 by Neal 1 Quote
Popular Post Wheelton Blue Posted June 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2022 The first signing has got to be Nyambe IMO. If he leaves, it's yet another player to find. If he stays, the problem disappears. 10 Quote
neophox Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 What about Loui Annesley? The guy are the star in an dull Gibraltar side.... he plays in midfeld in the national team. Can he make the step up in defence for Rovers? Saw they had a 1-1 draw with Bulgaria, astonishing result for Gibraltar... Quote

blue_n_white99 Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Chaddy is currently scouring all the Scandinavian leagues and will appear shortly with a mighty list of viking contenders, most of which most of us will have never heard of. Mercer is placing bets on some obscure signings and stocking up on Vino Collapso for when they get stuffed. I am just a bit giddy since the manager fiasco hasn't dragged on forever and ever. 6 Quote

Clutching at the biggest of straws but Nyambe liked Rovers' Instagram post announcing JDT so maybe he's impressed with the appointment and considering staying. Would be a huge boost. Van Hecke liked another one about JDT but that's probably dreamland stuff..... 4 Quote

He’s a decent stand in right side centre back in a back 5 also. As long as we have somebody in there to win the headers. 3 Quote

Brighton are letting Østigård leave after several seasons out on loan. Quote
Guest Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Well documented I'm not a huge fan of Nyambe. However, defensively/1 on 1 he is solid. And with it solving one of the recruitment problems then I'll happily see him sign on. Quote
Ruaney Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 (edited) There is zero chance of us signing Van Hecke. We can forget about that. If Brighton do stupidly want to sell or loan him, he'll be going elsewhere unfortunately. Edited June 14, 2022 by Ruaney typo 1 Quote
