Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?

Recommended Posts

At this stage of the window, with the lack of whispers, BBD shouldn't be sold.

Squad's already stretched, and in my opinion will get worse before it gets better with this new fitness regime the players are under.

No time to replace him, and although it's a poor business decision, from a team point of view we simply can't afford to lose him or his goals.

We must have a plan in place if he goes.

We will won't we? 😳

Done some brief digging, journo's have had Lewis banded to them,

Someone a little more credible says his name did crop up a few weeks back at Rovers and at this stage its no more than a name on an extensive list. He does not believe that has progressed any further at this stage.

Did go back to other person who just gave roll of eyes (dunno how to do one of those)

What I mean is Premier league money in relation to us. We haven't really a pot to piss in yet we would gamble 5 million on a player that might not work out long term

We should try to get some kind of try before you buy agreement then for that fee, with no obligation.

Reports today say Blackpool have knocked back another bid (£3.5m) from Forest for Bowler.

Interesting to see if he's selected tonight - if he is, hopefully, his head's been turned and he'll be less than his usual self.

Double sticker today?

Just on Hirst, Leicester value him at £5 million, that does not mean the pre-agreed fee is £5 million.

We dont know if there is a loan fee, we dont know the wage contribution.

Lets wait for official announcement

Official announcements never say things like whether there is a loan fee, what the wage contribution is, or the amount in any loan-to-buy deals. Every deal has been 'undisclosed' for the last decade or two.

But the likes of toney were banging in 30 goals a season on more than one occasion. Plus he was their player. Leicester see hirst as surplus to requirements and are using this loan and contract thing to fleece rovers if we decide to pay it. The guy has no goals in the championship.  He's not worth a gamble at 5 million but say we paid 2 million I would have no problem with that if he worked out in his loan

We are not we are loaning him if he's not worth 5m we won't pay it
