On the flip side, if he’s a free agent he’s likely to have more interest and could make up the remaining money from his new contract.

In an ideal world, yeah. However he has had a serious injury and hasn't shown that he has that hunger to grasp the chances given to him, so I don't think there will be many throwing decent money at him that will make up that shortfall. Honestly it looks more like he will be one that fizzles out of the game in 2 to 3 years.

If Greggy boys let's BBD go at this late.stage for feck all he can take his bags and fuck off....we already had Wharton and all that before he came...

It won't be his choice, it will be the owners.

Is there any evidence whatsoever that this is happening?   Seems unlikely.

As much as I loathed him at nobbers fC Ben Pearson is the Mr nasty we need in midfield to complement Travis

He only kicks players because he is crap and they get past him with ease

Trav replacement rather than a partner. Good player at this level, but not the sort we need for me.

Just got up having been working overnight.

For me no news today is reasonably good news,  the priority today simply has to be keeping BBD.

Apart from that we could do with a potent attacking threat on the right hand side.

Big effort guys. You’re actually on 746 including hidden posts. We need 254 pages on nonsense in the next 48 hours before the thread gets locked.

I'm on it.

Sources: Blackburn Rovers in advanced talks to sign Siriki Dembele

Blackburn Rovers are in advanced talks to sign Bournemouth attacker Siriki Dembele, sources have told Football Insider.

The winger was a target for Turkish giants Besiktas, but Blackburn are now well placed to lure him to Ewood Park.
