Maybe kaminski due to experience and how good of player he is. And that's what Mogadon has left us with....a load of experience out the door and loads of vanilla players with no balls....not one captain amongst them...shocking. Quote

roversfan99 Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 The thread would be totally silent if the rules had to be stuck to so rigidly. 3 Quote

Armchair supporter supremo Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 (edited) Well if Lenihan signs for Boro than then it shows he knows his level at least. Weak average at best player at a flakey club. Edited June 9, 2022 by Armchair supporter supremo Quote

Be interesting to see how he does somewhere, replaceable though IMO. 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Shame about Lenihan tbh. He's not the best CB in the league but i think he gets a lot undeserved stick. It now leaves us another body short and more resources need to be found in order to get a replacement in. Another concern is that whoever the potential inbound manager is, and the "vision" the owners and DoF have been pushing haven't been enough to get him to sign on. Unless of course, Boro have just offered a lot more cash. 4 Quote
Popular Post G Somerset Rover Posted June 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2022 Wilder has always wanted Lenihan hasn’t he. He’ll be a miss regardless of what some will say. 15 Quote
blue_n_white99 Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 The departure of Lenihan and Van Hecke leaves us with a big hole in the centre of defence again, add to that a new RB and the new DoF is going to have to earn his corn from day 1. I guess he also needs a Diaz replacement, a decent left back and some midfielders. Strap in Mr DoF you are going to be busy, busy, busy. Quote

Guest Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Big miss. You can get away without a Joe Rothwell type in this league, a luxury player you don't necessarily need. You can't get away without a Darragh Lenihan type. Took 4 years to finally settle down and we end up losing him for nowt. Another shit-show from Waggott and Suhail. Quote
tomphil Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Lenihen off to Boro, another great sign of progress there. Nyambe next then BBD, hopefully that ends the exits for now but i think whoever the manager is next season it'll be a tough one. Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 We need someone with experience to replace Lenahan, Ayalya can't be relied upon as we know. Someone like Steve Cook at Forest. What an astute signing he was. 1 Quote
