Anyone slagging off GB fancy reining it in a bit, given who we've just signed and how?

But aggressive Mike, you gonna start swingin if Big G-Dogg doesn't get the respect he deserves 😉

With Hyam signed and one other cb on route it looks as though jdt wants a back 3, Ayala, hyam, Wharton, Carter, Phillips and a new CB ( hopefully JPVH is solid and not only provides cover but also room for loans out

would prefer a 532 as we don’t have any quality wide forwards/ wingers but I can see it being 523 which me personally I don’t like leaves you vulnerable in the middle andeans dack and sznodics are out of position

Doesn’t sound too thrilled on his interview ha ha.

Yeah. Christ alive put that man on suicide watch. You’d think we’d press ganged him into coming.

Never heard of Hyam until recently so no idea if he's any good. But good to get a match fit seasoned pro CB in rather than kids. We've been desperate for one for weeks.

See what this week brings.

I hope this guy doesn't get to choose the pre-match music in the dressing room. It'll be more Leonard Cohen than Happy House!

Ha. I was thinking he’s defo a Radiohead man.

Hyam seems like a decent signing. And actually paying money for a CB is unheard of at this club.

Must be switching to a back 5.

Ayala, Wharton and Hyam should be an unreal CB trio.

Shame about the LB though!

Impressive signing this one

For the first time in what seems like forever we are actually directly replacing good players who have left with good, poss better, players.

Seems a DoF does make some difference.

After the last 3 games I actually think a high energy, powerful CM should be our priority for the last position rather than the Liverpool CB on loan. We're weak as piss in there.

Hopefully we'll have a secure league position at the next window when JDT has seen the squad a bit longer.

Come on guys lol. Yeah, he doesn't look like much of a smiler, but he has upped his wedge and playing for a better club than Coventry./

A no nonsense defender who can also play a bit sounds perfect. Welcome Dom!

Looking like the guy from Liverpool will come in too, so we've got some very good defensive options to choose from.

I agree. Central midfield is a glaring problem. You need to win the midfield battle in order for your more technical players to get into the game. Don't think we'll see anyone sign there though.

Coventry forced him out for the cash, maybe he was very comfortable there. Robins didn't have any part in the decision too.

Not according to them, they are massive compared to us....
