Gregg Broughton: “A versatile defender, who can play centrally in a two or a three, on the left in a four or a five, and also in midfield, Clinton gives us great options to suit Jon’s desire for tactical flexibility."

So we need to spend £10k a week on another Bradley Johnson journeyman?

No, ta. Blackpool scored 6 in their last 2 games (against Bristol City and Burnley no less) and barely had a sniff against us. They're a decent side at this level.

So you’re assuming that two teenage lads can maintain that level of performance in what is basically a two game a week season until next May  ? It’s not going to happen for several reasons. I’m pleased to see we’ve just brought in another midfield player who’s more defensively minded.

If we get dembele in this will be the best Windows for years. We just need another goal threat.  I'm not sure hirst will be the answer

For some reason I’m quite optimistic regarding Hirst. I’ve only seen the highlights reel but I like the way he attacks the ball, especially in the air.

Looking at Molas Wiki page, looks like hes only played 11 competetive matches! not a lot for a 21 year old. Doesnt seem to be any record of him playing anywhere before 2020.

Rovers’ Director of Football Gregg Broughton said: “We are very pleased to welcome Clinton to Blackburn Rovers....

“I’d like to thank Sven Mislintat and his team at VfB Stuttgart for their cooperation, along with Emeka Obasi and Ed Bonsu who, as Clinton’s representatives, continue to prioritise playing opportunities for their young players ahead of short-term gain.”

Well said Gregg!

A dig at some of the agents of the young players on our books perhaps?

Basically reads as "Ash Phillips if you don't sign your agent is a bellend"

Yeah he's obviously a bit of punt on a young player, rather than someone proven. Don't think he will be going straight into the team or even squad.
