benhben
This is woeful. Not a chance of playoffs. Can't score for shit. The opportunity was in January. 2nd in the league and came away with a loan and a couple of reserves. Let's just hope Brereton remembers how to score when he's back.

LDRover
Garbage. Utter garbage. And it all goes back to the inaction in January, there's no threat whatsoever in that team.

neophox
When you dont sign any striker you get punished....... What we lacked was a goalpoacher....ridiculous..... Credit to our backline once again and Van Hecke in particular was outstanding.
G Somerset Rover
Furious with that tonight. Yet again we could play til Christmas and not score. ONE goal in EIGHT matches. ONE!!! FFS, it’s absolutely diabolical.
jny
I'd be interested to know goals scored vs crosses made this season, piss poor from Mowbray
oozy
Our defence and Travis continue to prove their value. The attack is another story. Buckley, Gallagher, Lenihan and JRC (in order of ease of sitter) should all have scored. Edited March 8, 2022 by oozy

Proudtobeblue&white
I'm no fan of our manager, but I'm with the majority, you are in a brilliant position at Christmas/New Year, you throw money at going up. NOTHING.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller
3 goals in 2 months. Don't let anyone tell you our January window was a good one. Not signing a striker has cost us any chance of top 6. Another feckless decision by numpties running our club.
Backroom Popular Post DE. Posted March 8, 2022 Backroom Popular Post Share Posted March 8, 2022 I love how we signed Giles to sling crosses in to Dolan & Buckley as well as the useless donkey that is Sam Gallagher. Brilliant idea there Tony.
booth
No need to listen to TM's post match interview. It was all explained on 4th Feb. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19898505.tony-mowbray-explains-blackburn-rovers-didnt-sign-striker/
West Yorks Rover
10 corners and never looked like scoring. Mowbray is a poor manager, he is not a winner, sack him tomorrow morning and we will finish in the top 4, whoever takes temporary charge.
BigBar
I'm as pissed off as the rest of us but we really have been battered with injuries. I get it's part of it but weve had the core ripped out. No BBD, Khadra, Dack, Poveda, Nyambe, Zeefuick or Ayala. It's alot of attacking options currently not on the pitch.
Torgeir
Hugely disappointing. Millwall showed us great respect by dropping deeper in the second half and going for the counter only. Gallagher, Bucko and JRC have to score those. Buckley looked a lot fresher again tonight, links up well with Rothwell. A game suited for Dack this one... yankfan
I’ll leave this right here. The foresight of Ray Charles. “We had opportunities, there were No.9s out there and the really interesting thing is that clubs are phoning us and asking if we want to take this player, Premier League clubs.” “They have to fit into the way we play, why would we sign a Premier League centre forward if we don’t play with a centre forward at this moment, and he can’t do the running of a wide striker, doesn’t chase full backs, so we’d be playing with nine men rather than 10 out of possession?” “Why when we’re doing so well at the moment would we throw that away and do something totally different?” “We tried to recruit players to fit the system.”
CambridgeRover
The system is shit, it makes no sense. False 9, wide strikers, wing backs. Pile of crap
booth
Will any journalists bring up his refusal to sign a striker in Jan?

Hedges looks lively every time I see him, and Mowbray paid money for him. Instead he persists with a LWB as a right Inside Forward and a terrible football player as a left Inside Forward. No wonder we can't score - even the CBs have missed absolute sitters in this drought.
OldEwoodBlue
Commentators making it out like we were unlucky. The game I watched was lots of possession with almost nothing up front. Stats confirm 3 shots on target. Don't shoot = Don't score 8 games. No goals from open play. Teams queuing up behind us now. Probably finish in 12th. No point even getting upset. Only 10 more games and the numbskull has gone. This time next week only 8 games. THAT WAS VERY POOR. AGAIN.
