my mate was convinced he saw kevin keegan on the darwen end car park this morning, getting out of his 7 series bmw, looked very serious and was hurried towards the jack walker stand reception by a very big minder,he obviously did`nt want to be noticed by the covert way he was escorted from his vehicle, could be big news on the way

Probably Pep Guardiola's assistant manager

The longer it goes the more you fear something stupid.....or desperate.

I imagine we are busy making sure that any decent interested managers are put off during the interview stage by ridiculous demands or incompetence.

Then once we've wasted any chance of bringing anyone decent in through such incompetence we can move over to the bargain bucket aisle.

Awkward part here is that good managers will be interested so we have to make sure they are put off.

Fortunately none of the good ones are represented by HSH.

According to one or two superfans, there was a "plan" in place for when Mowbray left, including a "director of football" and a "head coach".

Could they provide an update on the progress of this "plan" and how soon there is likely to be announcement? It would be good to know when they expect our new management will be in place

Otherwise supporters will conclude there is no "plan" and never was a "plan", and the few players left who aren't either leaving and/or out of contract will report back for training still not not knowing who their boss (es) for the new season will be

Thanks in advance

Must of been getting his covid booster

My mate was convinced he saw Alex Ferguson in the dug out at Ewood, till he sobered up. On a serious note he did well at Newcastle pipped at the post by United in their prime.

Poor Tony Mowbray will be rolling in his grave - he spent 12 months getting pelters trying to bring football to us heathens with Dolan and Buckley as a False 9, only for us to go and hire the assistant of the inventor of the system.

Whoever gets the job at Ewood, lets all get behind him and give him a chance. With our talented youngsters and a couple of his own signings I will be disappointed if we dont make the top 6.

From Glen said yesterday we can expect an announcement on both around the 6th June.

Before that we can look forward to the club confirming Venus and most probably Waggots departure, although I keep being told Pasha will also no longer be involved in the club as well. Pasha will be replaced by Balaji son who will have power to do things.

Can you imagine the outrage on here?

Guardiola plays most of his players out of position and often without a striker, the site would go into meltdown.

Might have missed the sarcasm here but didnt they just spend an arm and a leg on a striker

Think the son is very very switched on went to a top uni and will have an idea on football so this can only be positive.

How does going to a ‘top university’ prepare you for the absolute batshit world of the Championship?

How do we know he ‘will have an idea about football’?

Aside from being totally inexperienced, if he’s anything like his Dad he will be an arrogant, entitled, bullying egomaniac with questionable morals. Involvement from him has been rumoured for a while, but I can’t see it as anything to get excited about.

An extraordinary marker of how just how far we have fallen as a club, but also how it can, over time dumb down the expectations of the fanbase.  To think John Williams was chairman 11 years ago.  Now we've got genuine positivity about the owners son, fresh out of a top uni, taking a senior role on the board.

Uni in absolutely no way prepares you for the reality of football.

If true we will see, one would assume the Son would get funds and with a good team at least we could buy again. But it hasn't worked out in a decade, so baited breath.
