We have missed out 3 people I thought could have took us to that next level in Daniel Farke, Carlos Carvalhal and Neil Critchley. Plus Michael Beale aswell.

So where we do now? how many candidates have we actually interview and we is Pasha and Waggott struggling to pick a first choice or someone to recommend to the owners to appoint.

I don't see clear and obvious choice out there to appoint.

Woodgate is a guess from me and nothing more. I'm hopeful an appointment will be made before the weekend(11/12th of June) since the players return on the 13th June with no fitness coaches at the club and no head of medicine services. So we can appoint people to these roles.

No not any coach can do, That why you employed specialise coaches to do it or proper trained and qualified physios.

We haven't had personal in those positions for years so why have each of the 3 people got to PL clubs or one of the top clubs in Germany.

Head of Medicine services Andy Mitchell left us for Red Bull Leipzig.

Our  Lead Athletic Performance Coach Liam Mason left for the role on Newcastle fitness staff

Our number 2 athletic performance coach Jack Dowling left for a similar at Everton

No I wouldn't think mad or angry or anything like that about it. What good would it do anyway?

Whoever we appoint I want to the reason why we appoint this candidate and what make him the right choice.

where has his name came from?

He is the director of football who was at Leicester and Everton.

I think you are completly wrong about fitness coaches. You could go out and get any personal trainer to take pre season fitness training. In fact there are two at the gym I go to, who could surfice. I am not saying that is the best scenario, but it could be done.

The only reason I don’t think it will be him at this stage is because he’d ruffle too many feathers. The management team are on easy street and he would be like a bull in a kitchen.

you may be right but at the moment we need a manager like that,he won`t take anything less than 100%

In the interests of fairness the info on Carvahal was pretty incorrect

Can we now just confirm that there is not a single ITK on here? Giving it the biggun then going on holiday or stating something followed by radio silence or just talking shite from Nixon. No one knows anything. Club is rotten and I hate the fact I still care

You 100% never heard of Michael Beale prior to last week.

Was he playing in the French second tier when you watched him?

Of course I can’t speak for Tyrone as I don’t know the man other than on here, but I spent a lot of time working in France in 2011-12 and saw Mahrez playing for Le Havre and I actually sent an email to Rovers telling them to have a look. Guess what? No reply was the answer.

Regarding the Steve Walsh scenario. Are we sure the clowns are after the correct Steve Walsh?

i don`t think duncan ferguson is the type to be dictated to,if he`s taking the job it`s nailed on he`s bringing his own staff

Who else at Championship level is going to give him the opportunity? He would probably bring in an assistant and put up with those who cannot be removed.

Who is Michael Beale?

Well Gladbach is a bigger club at the moment than Rovers....you cant blame Farke for choosing them ahead of us...

we should had potted Mowbray earlier and appointed Farke earlier...

We need our own permanently fitness coaches on the staff full time, not your local gym guys thanks.

Marco Rose

Marcelo Bielsa

Nuno Espiriti Santo

Sean Dyce

All available at the moment.... on a free....

But probably end up with Steve Walsh as DOF and Big Dunc as manager....uninspiring...

Nuno is the one I would take after Farke.... Rose is an interesting one who done well in Bundesliga...but would he come to Rovers?

That is somewhat encouraging - Ancelotti has forgotten more about football than any of us on here will ever learn.

If he's willing to send a couple of Madrid kids / squad players on loan to us as well, I could warm to the idea...

What uninspiring names...

Ainsworth would be the best "cheap" signing.

Ferguson, Walsh, Woodgate? Do we want to go back to League 1?

There's managers like Carvalhal, Farke, Bilic and Dyche out of work and we're going to end up with another total novice.

I'd take the likes of Warburton and Holloway over some of these managers with next to no experience.

Ainsworth wouldn't be a cheap option

So Ancelotti wanted Ferguson to follow him to Real Madrid but Duncan wanted to stay loyal to Everton. He will ditch Everton though to come to Ewood ! You couldn’t make it up

To be fair, he may not have wanted to relocate his family to another country.

The commute to East Lancs is considerably less grief than Madrid.

One thing I do like the idea of Ferguson for is the touchline battle with Kompany when we beat the Dingles a couple of times this coming season...
