A similar appointment to the DoF and it'll either be a masterstroke or disaster for me. Can't see anything in-between. 4
Tormund Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Don’t know too much about him, but looks like a good appointment. Now onto the manager. Knutsen would be ideal.

Whilst I agree with the gamble I'd rather see us go for something a bit out there over some of the proven to be dross options we've discussed over recent weeks. 1

Sounds like a flop to me! 👀🤣😎
Ricky Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Well I’d never heard of him but reading some of the links shared make me quite happy about the whole thing. Seems like he’s been a big part of the success of Glimt recently.
RoversClitheroe Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 At least now we can sort out the contract disaster and start making signings. 6
Craigman Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Knutsen already in to joint fav on SkyBet! Haha Next Permanent Blackburn Manager Thursday 30th June 2022 23:00 Manager Specials Bets placed in accordance with our Market Rules Next Permanent Manager Caretaker and interim managers completing at least 10 competitive games will be deemed the permanent manager Duncan Ferguson 3/1 Kjetil Knutsen 3/1 Ronny Deila 7/2 Paul Warne 8/1 Gareth Ainsworth 10/1 Wayne Rooney 12/1 Carlos Carvalhal 16/1 Damien Johnson 16/1 Jon Dahl Tomasson 18/1 Michael Carrick 18/1 1
Claytons Left Boot Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 (edited) Whether or not it works out is one thing but, credit where credit’s due, Waggott & Co seem to have done very well here, very well indeed. I think we can also agree that our academy has been a success here and this appointment should improve it even further. Wonder if Deila’s/Knutsen’s odds will shorten now? RV Blue Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Doesn’t look like we’ll be going for Warne or Ainsworth after this appointment.

I interesting quote in there "the project that really excited me was Bodø/Glimt. The joined-up thinking, strategy and journey they were on made me think we could do something really special." Surprised if he's coming based on a similar feeling at Rovers. 1
