Now we need a quick smart ambitious managerial appointment to be made within the next 2 weeks then we build on the good squad that Mowbray has left

What gets me is he speaks as if it’s new to him.

“I don’t think Steve makes the decisions”

Is that new to you Tony? You’ve been here 5 years. We all know that, why don’t you?

Maybe Mowbray can speak openly now that he is going.

Wasnt this the Brentford model youre thinking of

Nope we've had Preston, Norwich, Brentford and Barnsley all flagged up as examples or models to follow, then came Swansea.

Is it me or does Tony look like a burden has been lifted off his shoulders.. kind of says everything about Tony and his teams.. always at their best with no pressure..

Hood luck Tony, thanks for stabilising us, hopefully we can take the stabilisers off and push onto the next step!

Yet you had no problem with either yourself or others slagging off Ainsworth on the basis of his appearance.

I think a football manager should be smart and professional on match day.

What he does in his pare time is up to him.

Not the same.

Tonys departure confirmed. Now get the new man in time for the new pre season.

Seems Venkys decided about a new manager. Not Waggot.

I wouldn't take that as final confirmation!  There's going to be a big knot in my stomach until it's officially confirmed by the club.

And so it starts....... up to 3 months of speculation and rumours while the owners do precisely nothing

Then in the week before the start of the new season, some off-the-wall deadbeat in the Mowbray mould gets the job.

What other plausible scenarios are there?

Is there anything they could say that would change your mind?

I can never say never but I feel very strong in my mind that it's not a conversation where they say 'Tony will you stay?' and I say 'yes because you're asking'. There are lots of things that need to change. I want to give myself a chance to compete in the Premier League with a club that has the finances, the backing, the support and everything around it to compete in this league at the top and be disappointed if you don't get out of the division.

I’ve possibly been his biggest critic but that is no way to treat anybody. He deserves better from his employers.

I agree with this,I didn;t like the appointment from day 1 but they way the club has handled his leaving has been pathetic and just shows how badly the club is run from top to bottom.
