They haven't asked for your opinion Mogga ... cos maybe they just don't want it.

Take the hint, man.

Probably recommend Waggott gets the managers gig

Basically he forgets what he said a couple of sentences before ...... and just cannot shut up.

LT: Rovers are set to confirm Mowbray’s impending departure to draw a line under what has become a drawn out process ever since he confirmed he would leave at the end of his contract last month. (I assume that is just the usual bad LT wording)

Mowbray: “They haven’t asked me for an opinion on the next manager, so I would never offer it, other than surreptitiously in these chats and people will either pick it up, or they won’t.''....... “I will write them an email and I’ve started writing something that I haven’t sent yet''

Shock News - Mowbray can do email!

How dare "a bully" come in who has some standards to speak of and actually expect the players to produce results.

The poor hard done to little darlings.

*Newsflash* Buckley finds it quite "exciting" that a new man might be coming in to replace you and who could improve his game.

There's positives and negatives to Waggott being involved in a managerial appointment.

Positives - that at least he has some experience in football, even if incompetent he should have some understanding of the Championship, the club and fanbase and be able to use that to come up with some sort of reasonable shortlist.

Negatives - he's a buffoon, has no authority and doesn't control the cash. So in some ways better having India's involvement in this and cutting him out of the equation.

Mowbray is a drowning man clutching at a life belt that is being pulled away by the current of opinion.

He knows that never again will he get such a gig with so much personal power and not be held accountable for 5 long years.

He knows how to do a stitch up - just ask Andy C.

Not sure it is fake outrage, he has a very high opinion of his abilities, so will be put out that a a man of his undoubted talent hasn’t been offered one as standard.

However, he’ll have known all along what a bloody mess the club is, but he was happy to enough to turn the other cheek and sing the owners praises when gainfully employed, so speaking out now is sour grapes (but good to focus the minds of those that hang off his every word to open their eyes to this farcical set up).

Why Ryan Lowe , can't see that happening ...

It will be someone unemployed..

We could yet promote from within. I still haven't ruled out Johnno.

Would be typical Venkys.

I think Johnno’s ship has sailed since he got his drone pilots licence.

Just have to look at the seating arrangements/pecking order on a Mowbray bench.

DJ will not be on Mowbrays list of recommendations ...... and that automatically includes Waggott's list.

What could be simpler than a communication basically saying Mowbray is leaving, blah blah, thanks blah blah, new manager search blah blah. There, done it.

Why the hell is everything so complicated with this lot?

They don't care.

You can only assume Waggott (haha who am I kidding) or Suhail can’t get the go ahead from the owners. We are a circus, we really are.

Our piss poor set up off the pitch gets us time and time again. It f*cks us every transfer window and every time we’re supposedly searching for a new manager.

Honestly, I know we could do better, but wouldn't be UNHAPPY with any of those.

Kenny Jackett would be a horrendous appointment. He just got sacked for nearly relegating Leyton Orient!

Mowbray now that annoying guest that just won’t leave your house well after everyone else has , that you keep making hints for them to FO but they just don’t pick up on it.

I see he has been heavily linked to football powerhouses Hartlepool , shows how he is really thought of despite the faux outrage of sky

I made the mistake of reading the LT comments on his latest drivel but one which made me laugh which I thought was quite accurate was:

"he's getting clingy now, it's like someone constantly hanging around their ex hoping they'll change their mind"

Unfortunately they don’t know the meaning of the word urgent and can’t understand how important it is to act quickly, as in “the early bird catches the worm”. They have a huge organisation and we are unfortunately too far down the “pecking” order. I think we are regarded as a hobby/project and so are not deserving of their attention in a timely manner. They either do not learn from their mistakes or they don’t care if we don’t get the signing we need whether that be a manager or a player.

Farke won two promotions, I believe, at Norwich. Just scanning his signings, it looks like he had a few big successes in Pukki, Buendia and maybe, Rupp. However, the majority, including, his German recruits seem to have fallen by the wayside. That said, I really don't know enough about the players and the context.

Edit: Looking a bit more closely, it looks like several of the signings like Tom Trybull, Stieperman, Hernandez and Vrancic did play a lot of games and were probably short to medium term signings who helped the club rise but came short in the Premier League.

It looks as if there was a very high turnover of playing staff, with a lot of foreign signings coming through the doors, as well as gambles on Premier League reserve signings.

The obvious answer is that Mowbray decided to jump before he was pushed just in case and they hadn't actually come to a final decision on what they want to do with him or,  even worse, still hope to persuade him to sign a new deal.

However IF they have actually decided to part Company with him they need to put out the statement and get him out of the building ASAP.

It's no good him hanging around everyone feeling sorry for himself and expressing opinions which may be contrary to the direction the Club want to go in.

Neither should he be having any input into things like next season's recruitment, and it is completely pointless him carrying out a debrief of this season.

Your hypothesis could be correct but there is absolutely nothing obvious when it comes to these owners.

Venky's will expect Mowbray to complete his contract. Mowbray is happy to pick up 2 months pay ( with everyone talking about how badly done-to he is rather than how badly the team played since January )

Probably get discussed at Venky's next board meeting ( for 5 minutes at the end under 'any other business' )

That might mean Waggott having to re-open the BBE upper tier to season tickets. There must be some way we can avoid that. Is there no way we can extend Mowbray's stay, instead?

we dont need to, he's still around until the 30th of next month
