What’s so confusing to me is how our tactics have completely changed is 2021.  When we were winning games we played without the ball, pressed high, won it high and quickly transitioned. Even when we were broken down and Kamenski has the ball, he’d look to roll it to Rothwell who would turn and counter. 
 

fast forward to now.  No pressure, backwards play, and lots of long balls. It can’t be a mistake that we’ve completely changed our way of play and with it lost our form. When was the last time you’ve seen us press high?  Last time we’ve consistently won the ball in the attaching 1/2?  

Go back and watch a match from November…we look a complete different side with a different plan.

Back on the game other than the clown in the dugout, we knew the referee was giving us nothing so Brereton goes down softly tying to buy a free kick rather than hold the ball up which costs us the first goal.

Dolan then does exactly what I’ve been saying all,season and fails to get his head up and suddenly a 5-on-3 break in our favour is turned over and we concede. Shooting themselves in the foot.
