Popular Post glen9mullan Posted April 19, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2022 I thought it be worth, putting this article back up. Was published in India and went global. A lot of time, money and effort was sacrificed by some supporters to get to the truth. No justgiving pages then, just our personal banks emptied. We should never forget what has occurred under this ownership https://www.sportskeeda.com/football/misery-at-blackburn-rovers-leaked-documents-reveal-harrowing-details-of-the-indian-rule-at-riverside 10 Quote

aletheia Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Remember it all sadly. A sterling job and should be widely known. You deserve a medal. Hope you are well. 2 Quote

Popular Post arbitro Posted April 19, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2022 The letter at the head of the article blows the 'badly advised' myth out of the water. They were told by the then incumbents at Ewood that what they were doing contravened FA regs. And the signatories ended up leaving as Venkys and their 'advisors' ruined our club. Bastards the lot of them. 11 Quote

Bastards the lot of them. Very much so, they refused to listen to the board they inherited. They denied any involvement to the FA, then Board members gave evidence to the FA to the contrary. As they heat was turned up, Kentaro took legal action as they had'nt paid all their dues as per their agreement. Yet despite the legal threats/court action both the FA and Venkys tried to hide it under the carpet due to the implications to the FA over a corporate partner and sponsor, and the pending FIFA scandal which by definition due to Kentaro's involvement and cash for votes would of implicated those governing the game. The sports minister sent an article to the fa to get their ship in order, as world cup bids were also goverment backed. As with the rovers buy out, Kentaro were acting for more than one party. Despite this, Anderson continued at Ewood way after this scandal became a war and under parliamentary privilege as our friend Mr Lingard would concur , Rovers story was collateral damage were millions was spent in gagging orders to prevent the truth ever seeing light of day. Its scary to think what we uncovered, and the shit we get from our own support who still believe venkys were conned is the biggest joke of the lot. You have to remember Venkys business interest in pharmaceutical was way before rovers. Their relationship with Switzerland and Huber, and Sella makes rovers look like pocket change. That business relationship was before rovers, during rovers and remains. Anderson was a small cog (the smallest in fact) in a much bigger machine. He is merely a foot soldier who had a uk influence in the English game. The thing with foot soldiers, there are plenty of them Edited April 19, 2022 by glen9mullan 11 Quote
aletheia Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Indeed. What a cesspit football has become. We are a long way from say a chairman who was a big man at a local factory, players who caught the bus with fans and did part-time jobs close season and youngsters whose parents got a nice fridge if they signed on. 2 Quote

The game is no longer a game, i'm currently weighing up if I will renew my season ticket this time around. I've lost all the enjoyment of going rovers, and if anything its just a chance to catch up with family and friends. 4 Quote

Don't bother pre or post match, or at half time though as the tannoy is turned up to 11. 2 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) Glen, I was an avid viewer of your posts at the time. I was appalled at Venkys appointment as owners, and remain to this day a massive critic of their existence in our lives as the Rovers family. Do you have any insight as to how they would be removed/leave? Edited April 19, 2022 by Proudtobeblue&white 1 Quote

Having spoken to Jagdish, the plan was always he would run the club, i wouldnt be surprised if he is involved in some capacity next season. I always hoped it was a pride thing and they'd sell up if we went up, However the indication is they wont be going anywhere Quote

Upside Down Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 (edited) Great article and thanks for all you have done Glen. As I have stated many times before, relegation from the Premier League was deliberate as is our mid table position within this league. The turmoil and state of limbo that we have been in over the last 12 years has all been by design to benefit those that lurk in the background. There is no hope in trying to reason with the people in charge. Our only real option is to pressure the government and the football governing bodies to change the rules around club ownership. Fans should have a minimum 51% controlling stake in their clubs. This is by no means a perfect solution but it's a damn sight better than the current order of things. The Trust is currently fervently attempting to do both of these things. 3 Quote
