Yous moaning about a friendly get a grip! All over social media moan moan moan, it’s about fitness and taking on board a new style of play and standards under a new head coach and it’s giving jdt and broughton an idea of what we need to recruit as they can’t just go signing anybody like a lot of inpatient shirt sites fans think they should.

First of all what is yous? Second of all how did any of that detritus today reconcile with high press or high intensity football that jdt has mentioned? We can all make excuses and in the grand scheme of things today isn’t important but you’ve got to admit today was dreadful.  Did yous even watch it?

Hot day in Accy and first game was typical Rovers with no shots that would worry anyone and two embarrassing free kicks that may have worked on training ground. Markanday is class. Quick and has a few touches that will deceive opposition. Brown & Magloire don't fit into this team. Diaz & Gally worked hard but they need better service.

Yes, I have to wonder what he's been doing with them the last month.  No pattern, I was expecting the Gagan, no sign.  Dack will be fine in this pedestrian team

Thing is, if it's just a friendly and all that matters is fitness, which I can accept, then it's also pretty irrelevant how well Garrett, Wharton, Phillips and Vale performed.

Wharton looks a real gem. Battles and didn’t look out of place. Technically very good.

Sam Barnes was steady, reminded me of Paul Downing
