rigger Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 (edited) So 4 away games pre-season. Perhaps they are sorting the pitch at Ewood ? Edited May 17, 2022 by rigger Quote
Mattyblue Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Be nice to look over to a load of ex-Blues that have converted to Stanley since out last visit… Quote

Usually when they are doing extensive work on the pitch, it usually starts pretty much straight after the last home game on the season and given its over 2 weeks since the Bournemouth game and the early start to the season, with nothing happening 🤷♂️ Quote

JHRover Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I think they are just doing the usual pitch replacement - not the all singing all dancing job Waggott alluded to last year I've heard that we aren't having any home friendlies this year, so I would expect another couple of midweek friendlies away from home to take the total to 6 (or at least 5 and then use the Carabao Cup effectively as a pre-season game). 1 Quote

Yeah thought it would be the bare minimum to be honest. Looking at the dates, they are back on 20th June i think i read, so i would expect a game on the weekend of 2nd July, then maybe another one either that midweek or in the midweek after the Stanley game. Potentially 3 league games before the Carabao Cup kicks off. Quote
rigger Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 Typical of the official site. In the fixtures section it says the next game is against Celtic, it doesn't mention the Accy game. Quote
JHRover Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 Apparently Accy are selling tickets for their game against us. No mention of such things from Rovers Quote
MarkBRFC Posted May 21, 2022 Author Posted May 21, 2022 Like everything they will get around to it when they are ready. Quote

arbitro Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Accrington have some good hospitality deals on for when we play there if anybody is interested. https://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/news/2022/may/hospitality-book-a-pre-season-friendly-date/ Quote
Mattyblue Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Wonder how much more we make on hospitality than Accy game by game? You know that former Northern Premier club that just about hits 2k home fans. A far smaller gap than a few years back, I would imagine… 1 Quote

Rogerb Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 When looking to buy unreserved standing ticket for the Stanley game on line today the system gives a row and seat number which I thought was bizarre. Ended up ordering the ticket by phone with no real explanation as to why that was the case other than to blame Stanley. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 I don’t know if it’s possible but if anyone wants to use my season ticket details for a accy ticket you can pm me Quote

When I renewed I asked about the Celtic game. They said they would be out soon and assured me there would be coaches being put on as I thought if that Gerry cinnamon gig is on the trains might be full or extortionately priced by the time the tickets are released. They said just keep checking the website 🤷🏼♂️ 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Stanley now on open sale… the season ticket exclusivity period for when there is no season worked well then. Quote
