I don’t think we would behave like that. “It is complete mismanagement of a situation. We are annoyed at that and the common courtesy of not having a call or a text from anyone and I know some people on the football side at Blackburn as well. “Let’s just say we wouldn’t treat a player or a club the way we or Lewis has been treated. “Sometimes when you are on the other end of things like this you learn how not to treat people and that is where we are at. We won’t let Lewis down, others might, we won’t.” Steve Cooper On the flip side, they "didn't let Lewis down" by immediately signing someone else and punting him down to the reserves, so hard to say how firm his morals are.

Popular Post Swanson
Well I never thought it would come to this, but as long as Venky's are the owners I am done with Rovers. I have been a fan since 93, but now sadly it stops. These owners are slowly killing my interest for the club. There have been so many many incidents since they took over, but these latest things... I have had enough of these uprofessional owners! They show time and time again that they will never learn, and nothing will ever change as long as they are still around. I hope to "see" you guys sometime in the future! Take care! Swanson out! Edited February 4, 2024 by Swanson

Well this is the issue isn't it. 43 years, if you walk away you feel like it's all been for nothing. It all comes down to whether you can accept occupation by the Venky cong. Accepting of course being a different concept to liking. Not being able to accept it, and not being able to change it, of course your mental health is going to take a massive hit. It's something I've struggled with myself. I can only hope this is the beginning of the end. Absolutely no judgement of course on anyone who does walk away. Sounds very similar to why Lambert walked out? Except he had the hindsight to have a clause in his contract that allowed this and JDT hasn’t.

Be that those in India or the useless shower of sh!t left ‘in charge’ at this end. It can be done. We’ve roughly six months to do it. Personally I've been in too long to give up, I'm too old to give up, time will do that anyway. I want to see the Raos out on their asses. It a reason to live. I lost my eldest son 15 months ago to heart disease. I'd introduced him to Rovers at a young age and have the photos of him in the Rovers dressing room with Garner, Keeley, Barker etc, on the pitch with Bobby S. He stayed a fan all his days and got to Wembley twice to see us win a cup and a playoff. Also to Wales to see us beat Spurs. I owe it to him to stick with us. The vermin will be gone one day and I have family who I also introduced and still fans who will see that great day even if I don't. I am still following my no swearing NY pledge. Since then it has been one long ordeal both sides, except that they have only money in the game, not passion nor pride, like us. RAOs OUT! Some fond memories from League One, so it's all about adjustment. Right now it's dogshite on and off the pitch though, and nobody can really blame you.
