Whichever ways anybody wants to dress it up Tomasson is aggrieved and feels let down in the January window. He has spoken of his desire to bring a striker in and we didn't get one despite a lot of excuses from Broughton. Tomasson's stock has risen considerably over the last few months and he certainly won't be short of suitors. It was reported recently that he has changed agents too.

if he was going to go he would have gone after the January transfer window.

Most Director of football have a background in youth development. You seemed to be against GB since he was appointed.

Of Course GB should always have a back up plan and list of potential replacement if JDT was head hunted by Premier League club like Southampton or Leeds for 2 examples.

Neither may be premier league next season. Better run than us, I will except.

Absolutely, that's his job. It would be very odd if he didn't.

The real question is, why did he see fit to bring it up yesterday?

fully aware of that Rigger but both teams have a good chance of staying up. I mentioned both teams has example based reason

I haven't listened to the interview or the context of it so can't comment

I presume you mean just the management side as I think the players have ambition too.

It would be great to have an ambitious ‘senior management’ team but I’d settle for a competent one…

Oh for this set-up being overseen by Williams, Goodman, and Finn 😭

I'd be thoroughly depressed if Tomasson left, I think overall he's done a brilliant job and it's given me some hope that there is some ambition there. Back to square one if he leaves, or worse. The last time a manager walked due to the club not matching his ambition we followed that up with Owen Coyle who proceeded to relegate us to L1.

I'm hoping GB has someone better than Coyle lined up.

Lets hope they arent genuinely interested because lets be real, not even considering what happened in January, if a Premier League club comes in with a massive wage increase and resources, he almost certainy will go.

Nice to have our manager being linked with other jobs again. Every time a managerial vacancy came up when Hughes was here I would start to panic. Been awhile since we've had a manager that another club would even look at poaching - shows he's doing a decent job.

Graham Potter now in as favourite though.

No way will Leicester be interested in jdt. He's got a long way to go yo show he's up to a job the size of Leicester. The likes of Fulham, Brentford.....spurs, are more realistic

This comment right here shows the full extent of the damage that venkys have done to this great club.

JDT does his homework thoroughly.

I think Leicester have deep football side problems which a late 11 game dash can't solve.

Potter has said he will make a decision about where next in the summer.

Let's be honest he'd be a bit stupid to trade his current position for a relegation battle...

Much bigger budget, PL football, every chance they stay up - and even if they went down, parachute payments. He'd be off like a shot (though I'd be amazed if they went for him).

I said after the January fiasco that JDT wouldn't be here long. Decent and ambitious managers expect support from Clubs and move on quickly if Clubs muck them around.

We can sit and speculate until the cows come home about what went wrong in January and who was responsible. Doesn't really matter. It was a joke of a transfer window and I imagine serious bridges have been burned.

I don't think the change of agent in February was a coincidence and it might not be Leicester but I think it will be someone soon.
