It seems to be an impossible task, getting Suhail out from under his rock to face the music.

If anyone has any ideas, post on here. There must be some way, we can apply some pressure.

charlton fans got rid of their useless owner by repeatedly interrupting matches by throwing various objects on the pitch as well as protesting before, during and after games to gain attention to their plight

EFL Regulation 128.1:

"Clubs shall hold at least two meetings / fans forums per season to which its supporters (or representatives) are to be invited in order to discuss significant issues relating to the Club. The framework for these meetings shall be documented in the Club's customer charter , but are subject to the following minimum criteria:

128.1.1: Club's must be represented by the Club's majority owner, Board director(s) or other senior executive(s)

128.1.2: Where meetings are not open to all supporters wishing to attend, the supporter representatives must be elected, selected or invited in line with basic democratic principles

128.1.3: Individuals cannot be excluded by the Club without good reason

Now when supporter consultation meetings were first made mandatory by the League they ran in addition to the Fans Forum meetings. The idea was that the Fans Forum meetings would continue on their 2-3 monthly cycles and cover the usual business and then these bigger meetings would take place once or twice a year to cover more important and signficant issues.

Unsurprisingly, as with shareholder meetings, Waggott has seized advantage of Covid as an excuse to stop these and is now getting away with just having the small forum meetings every few months to talk about predominantly minor issues such as ticketing, catering and merchandise.

I'd also suggest that with the exception of Waggott the other people present at Fans Forum meetings are not of sufficient seniority to comply with these requirements. In times gone by they have also tried to blag it by inviting the manager and Bob Coar, again neither of which meet the criteria above.

I will be writing to Waggott to request an explanation as to why the Club has decided to cease holding shareholder meetings and standalone supporter consultation meetings.

It would be interesting if they did one now, with the manager involved. I get the impression JDT would not wax lyrical, like Mowbray did and turn it into a love in. I’m sure some proper feathers would be ruffled and perhaps a few home truths would come out.

Would love to be a fly on the wall!

JDT to rangers?

No thanks.

Can't imagine it'd appeal much to him either, it's not like he's not already managed a (relative) minnow in the CL.

He'll have much bigger clubs clamouring for him, when he does leave Rovers.

I could see him going there as a stepping stone to a decent premier league job. Full house, better wages , ambition and a chance at success whilst fluffing up your cv and getting far more media attention. He ain’t turning that down to stay here if they come knocking

Better teams maybe, can't imagine any bigger clubs than Rangers though (I'm a big JDT fan - but Rangers are a massive club).

Ive noticed on social media with the lack of football this week to talk about that Tomasson's post match comments from after the Plymouth game are being regurgitated and theres a growing narrative of "stop moaning" and "what will it do to the confidence of the players."

Well to be fair, it shouldn’t be happening. At a club where everyone was pulling in the same direction it wouldn’t be happening. It’s up to Waggott to sort it out.

Its the owners that are the cause, theyve cut the budget to such a drastic degree that it threatens our competitiveness.

Waggott is a popular fall guy, he doesnt add value in general and should have long since been let go but he doesnt warrant the criticism for this, nor does Broughton. The blame lies squarely in India, no ifs or buts.

Seeing plenty of 'it's not their fault' again now in regards to the owners.

I'm usually one to defend our fanbase against all comers but we genuinely do have some really hard to fathom blue ans whites, owners stuff up yet again = fans fault get behind the lads ffs !

No wonder we get walked all over.

Think back to the Coyle season, the owners were still getting plenty then. It’s only post a wholly avoidable one off season in L1 (where we largely strolled back up from) and a totally non-comparable club in Bury going bust, that large chunks of the fanbase now see these owners as our saviours, the only thing stopping 150 years of history going kaput.

Whereas I would say these characters getting hold of our club will be the very thing that does lead us to the knackers yard…

Manipulation by plants to turn the narrative against one who has dared to speak out and question the overlords.

I can see Southampton coming in for him. They'll surely bin off that tosser they've got now as he's absolutely shite. Another pumping and he'll be booted. Then they'll see what JDT is doing here and what he's had to work with any they'll make the move.

JDT's position here is untenable. He's been lied to and let down too many times and he's only been here a year.

Will JDT extend his contract with us? What's his future - immediate and long-term-wise?

Of course, he was linked with moves away this summer and that never materialised. He told us in pre-season he had turned down offers to stay at the club. Then the India issues left him frustrated and he didn't bite his tongue either.

Well well well...
