Sounds like they'll have a meeting to discuss a mutual termination and then he'll be off. God knows who we'll get to take the position.

Bob Bradley available?

Steve getting the pressure for the first time last weekend and didn't like it.

Now using every tactic possible to try and prevent any further unrest aimed at his direction by saying 'look at how it affects the players' .

How he's still there trying to hold a rooms attention is mind boggling.

I hope none of the rovers groups who went were hoodwinked.

Absolutely spot on.

Please don't protest or boo at matches as the players get upset. He is really clutching at straws.

No room for sentiment but would have been nice for him to be in place for the fa cup game v Newcastle

Be even better with and shearer in BBC box

As much as I have sympathy for JDT in the way he's been hung out to dry by the idiots above him, I think a parting of the ways is the only solution now. Just as long as the manager is not the only person losing their jobs over the running of the club. And we know who we are talking about.

The conclusion has to be that Venky's don't want promotion.  Our 2 big chances to go up in recent seasons, under Mowbray and Tomasson, and the funding was never there to give us that final push into the playoffs.

I think it suits them for Rovers to be out of the top flight, where the glare of publicity and worldwide attention that the Premier League receives would cast a spotlight on the owners and their "activities".  I still maintain Rovers as a club have for the past decade been used as a money laundering (tax dodging) vehicle by Venkys

Strange isn't it what nick Harris said that the owners still hope we'll get back to the premiership

What a strange situation. I can't remember any past instances of clubs bringing in supporters groups to have a sit-down with players after they were booed.

One of the blokes on the WhatsApp group said they took this angle previously.

It's shameless considering the club is again, the laughing stock of football because of his organisation.

No resignation, just hold a bullshit meeting to create a thinly veiled jab at the people who pay and actually care about the club.

A CEO of a football club using the players as meat shields.

And the fans being told it's them that need to step up 😄

Get that awful cretin out of our club.

My hate for him increases by the second…If there’s anyone’s name I’ll be chanting on Saturday it will be his and it will be to get out of this club - The man is a sewer RAT!

It’s absolutely pathetic all ways round. It’s barmy. Swag trying to deflect. Players probably obligated through contractual arrangements. Fans probably interested in hearing what shite is being peddled. Every day just gets more surreal

What the fuck lol

It’s all a bit amateur isn’t it? Inviting fans in for a chat with supporters. That will be scoffed at in the dressing room, fact

I hope it wasn’t as amicable as Glens tweets make out. It is bigger than them. We want the owners gone

The supporters group need to issue a joint statement confirming their 100% backing of the players and calling for the sacking of Waggott.

This really needs to go happen. Show him that we are insulted by his behaviour today.

I hope someone pointed the finger at Waggott and said you're a big part of the problem.

Why bring in a head coach and DOF with the orders of champagne football when you knew full well that we were going to have to tighten our belts?
