My guess is that the delay is down to them wanting JDT to sign an NDA which unfortunately will probably be only way they relieve him of duties and the circus will continue without anyone speaking out.

Or maybe they are just waiting for Eustace to do all the media stuff, so they can do a double anouncement?

I was looking at the betting for the Huddersfield job as I assume we will be looking at similar targets.

I noticed Pep Lijnders is fairly short odds.

He might be worth a gamble. Looking to get into management and very settled in the area.

We shouldn't have to pay JDT off if he signs for Sweden. But he's probably so fed up by this club and Waggott in particular that he will want to get out with what he can. He also has his assistant to worry about, even if he might not need the money himself.

If it's set in stone that he leaves I hope it's settled today, and we can bring in a new face before the crucial game tomorrow.

Who takes the side in the absence of any agreement?

Damien Johnson or will they wheel out a reluctant JDT?

We keep hitting new low after new low recently but surely even they couldn't do that.

Could they?

Johnson must have been taking training if JDT is resigning, you would think. So wouldn't be surprised to see him taking charge tomorrow.

But with this club, you never know.

They were no training yesterday. Players day off

Is it normal to have the Thursday off before a huge Saturday game against a relegation rival?

Matty you know full well that there is nothing normal about this football club.

Maybey the players meant to turn up but just didn't make it to the training ground. They all got out of bed that morning, appeal for leniency?

The players meant to press the ‘snooze’ button when their alarms went off but instead pressed ‘stop’, and overslept, knowing full well that they wouldn’t get sacked for it.

David Anderson from the mirror just now

Jon Dahl Tomasson’s exit from Blackburn complete, clearing the way for John Eustace to take over. Club say Tomasson has left by “mutual consent”, but the Dane quit because he was budget was repeatedly cut. #Rovers

Either Andy Bayes or Elliott Jackson stated on twitter it was a standard practice if no midweek game. It certainly raised my eyebrows in view of current form/ defensive frailties!

Ok but what about today?

Should be in.

I guess Eustace will take training if appoint this morning if he is JDT replacement unless JDT pay off isn't sorted so I guess Johnson will take training

I believe they always have Thursday off unless we have a game on Wednesday night or Friday night

Source?

First I've heard of professional players having a midweek day off.

Well, I've decided to buy the club with my recent winning of the jackpot on the Euromillions, so good times are ahead*

*Slight technical issue. Whilst I did win the Euromillions, I failed to click 'buy ticket' after selecting my numbers. I have submitted an appeal to the people that run the lottery and hopefully that will be successful. If not successful, I will be attempting to re-negotiate a deal to win the lottery next week.

You'd need to win the lottery every other year to fund Rovers at current losses.

He's got more than one functioning brain cell so the losses would be half as much at least.

Only needs to win it every other year.

Yet nothing official from the club. Can they even be arsed to make a statement? Probably not?

"Oh JDT? Yeah he left by mutual consent. Next"
