philipl Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Luton have been building a new stadium since before Eric Morecambe was a director there. They have abandoned the idea of moving to Dunstable and are now going to pitch up (ha ha) near the railway station with a 17,500 seater with minimal ends allowing for it to be increased to 23,000 in the future. Seems to be financially linked to a hotel and retail park development by the M1 which might not get OK'd because it is green field. 1 Quote

I grew up in Bedfordshire in the 90s and 2000s, and a former owner was giving it large saying they were going to build a stadium off a junction of the M1 then. Quote
GHR Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Luton Town FC received a legal challenge from the owners of the shopping centre in the town itself IIRC, which has delayed everything as the shopping centre LTFC want to build on the outskirts funds the new stadium. Don't know what the latest is on that front - as with most things like this it seems to have dragged on for years. Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Ramsey scores a tap in and runs across to the Norwich fans (he was on loan at Norwich earlier in the season) to taunt them. What a prick. Quote
Sweaty Gussets Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) A Boro win would be the perfect result Edited April 14, 2023 by Sweaty Gussets Quote
BigBar Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Need Norwich to lose as many of possible from now til the end of the season Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 A Norwich loss here would be huge for us; they would be a point behind having played two more games. Come on, Boro! 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Come on Bonny Boro. The rain might win this match though 1 Quote

arbitro Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Two of Middlesbrough's goals tonight have been scored by loanees. How many goals have our loan players contributed again? 3 Quote

We needed a striker in January, everyone knows that - they tried to get two and failed on both. I'd love to know what kind of loan fees they're paying for Archer / Ramsey et al. I'd dead set against pumping your side full of loanees unless they're definitely going to take you over the top to the PL. It's like paying rent instead of a mortgage. Quote
philipl Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Norwich not going above us tonight 4-1 down to Boro in the River Quote
