Backroom DE. Posted May 13, 2023 Backroom Posted May 13, 2023 I don't think Mowbray was ever the long-term plan at Sunderland, so in some ways you'd say fair play to them for sticking to that despite their good form, but at the same time it would obviously be very harsh. With that said Mowbray's stock will have risen after getting Sunderland into the playoffs, so if they do sack him I don't think he'll have trouble finding another job. 1 Quote

Hannoverover Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Luton seem too strong for Sunderland. As a side note, quite a few ex Rovers doing well this season. Apart from Armstrong today of course Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Unbelievable from Diallo - he shouldn't be at this level (he cost Man U anywhere from €25-40m). Quote

ben_the_beast Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Thought Luton were doing an absolute number on Sunderland in thar first half. Completely bailed out by Amad Diallo. Agree with @Exiled_Rover, it's almost a cheat code having a player of his quality at this level. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 why is he not sitting on his backside yawning and looking bored, cos he`s a **** thats why 4 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 As much as I hate Mowbray, I am having a giggle at Luton absolutely bottling it. The last thing we need is more nothing Southern clubs supercharged by PL wealth. 2 Quote
TheWeasel Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 The idea of that odious gremlin mowbray taking Sunderland up is sickening 4 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted May 13, 2023 Backroom Posted May 13, 2023 Really don’t get the vitriol towards Mowbray, time was up here, we did well by him, he did well by us, he’d got bored and we got bored, it happens 3 Quote

I can go into more detail if you'd like? 9 Quote

M_B Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Glad Sunderland beat The Harlem Globetrotters a win for football. Hope Coventry go up, but if not, Sunderland. Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 it would be poetic justice if coventry beat sunderland in the final, they absolutely detest mogadon for his spell there,he totally messed them up and then legged it,the gurning **** was rescued by us,he was due to take the chesterfield job until we intervened,he repayed us moaning, belittling us and wasting shedloads of money 2 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 (edited) I went for a lie down at HT in the Old Firm game and just woke up. My usual body clock alarm didn't go off. Shows how much I care about playoffs .... or maybe just tired ... it's been a long long ultimately disappointing season. Might watch Salford v Stockport but will check if Itchy Boots has released a new episode first. Luton will do Mowbray at home. I'll go to the Wat tomorrow to place a curse.
