Luton and Millwall are definitely beatable.

So are Stoke, Birmingham, Norwich, Hudds, Hull, Coventry, Preston. We only got just 4 points from these lot.

These last 2 games, we need more than Arte et Labore, we need our forwards to put away chances, we need JDT to stop mucking around subs, we need Lady Luck... and possibly black magic.

I didn't know we had any forwards.

The Recruitment process of the last few years has absolutely crippled us.

Well you might not believe we are still involved, plenty of us think we are still involved.

Sorry, I think you must have quoted the wrong post, because your reply does not relate in any shape or form to what I posted.

We all want a couple of "twists and turns" involving Rovers, but have seen none to date since your original post a few weeks ago.

Obviously, there are going to be twists and turns involving other teams, because not everyone can win every game.

The irritating thing about this season and last more than previous seasons is that we have actually been involved in genuine play-off pushes.

It happened a few times under Mowbray and Bowyer where we loitered in mid-table 2,3,4 wins off the top 6 all season and there was talk up until the last few weeks of us being well placed for a push, but we never really looked likely or got into the top 6, and by the very nature of the play-offs and the Championship of course there are a raft of clubs sat in the middle of the table who are in with a shout until the last couple of games. Examples this year being Swansea and Bristol City who despite spending none of the season in the top 6 and being very inconsistent have been in theory in with a chance of sneaking in.

The last two seasons have been different because we've spent such a long time in there. It would be tragic if we failed to even finish 6th in either season, but you get what you deserve if you fail to strengthen in January and just make up excuses instead.

Exactly. They should have learned the lesson from the season before.

Hello!

I'm Adam from Hungary, Budapest. Rovers-fan since 1992.

I have a question. I remember that I saw a page earlier (don't know when) where I could see the shirts of the team, maybe since 1875 (or almost). There were not real photos just illustration, but also the back views! I don't find this now.

Can you help me with a link?

Thanks in advance! Blackburn forever! Adam

The thing that really winds me up is the fact that sheffield united with the advantages of parachute payments have been being funded by payments from a potential owner who cannot get ratified by the football league thus far. added to the fact the signed there best defender from under us and failed to pay for him as well as others yer nothing has been done about them.

That's because the EFL know that if Shef Utd go up their problem goes away.

Joao Pedro moving to Brighton for £30m in the summer.

Bonkers money - he's only scored 11 goals this season.

crazy money and this is one of the reasons I said that the transfer fees we were offered for BBD last summer were low balled offers.

I don't why Brighton are after him and spending that sort of money but it will help them next season if terms of spending on the team. Question is who will be the head coach next season and will they be given time there for once.
