roversfan99 Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Just watched most of the Preston game. The standard considering both teams want a top 6 finish is abysmal. Also a reminder as to how poor Bell is and the torture of having to watch him every week. 5 Quote

Their CBs aren't good enough to play it out from the back in the manner they want to - and even when it does work out for them they don't have the CMs to capitalize on it. They just pass themselves into trouble any time the opposition puts on a press. Swansea appear to be playing again at Brentford……. 2 Quote

slowmo Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Early doors I know. But other than Watford there's a 5 point gap already on the typical promotion hopefulls 👍 Quote
JacknOry Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 We had gaps last season - just hope we continue this on a game by game basis. 1 Quote
neophox Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Burnley again dropping points along with Preston 🙂 1 Quote
neophox Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Watford could only get a draw against Birmingham. Quite good results for us tonight. 1 Quote
Sweaty Gussets Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Early days but... Can't see there being a Fulham this year. Luton have had a bad start considering how well they did last year. Watford, West Brom and Norwich not exactly pulling up any trees. Burnley just an average Championship team again. 1 Quote

Norwich have only managed to beat a seemingly relegation favourite (a former condenser), Burnley have an entirely new team and a novice manager who don't seem to have gelled yet, Swansea are relentlessly favouring style over substance. Very early days so not to get carried away but there doesn't seem any team to be scared of in this division. 1 Quote

BRFC4EVA Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 A bit early for all of this but still, reasonable set of results tonight. What is clear is that this is the weakest champ for a long while. Although it may change, Norwich and Burnley don't have the look of a fulham/bournemouth. Could build a nice little buffer with beating Reading! 3 Quote
