Sounds like a shambles of a game at Bramall Lane. The Radio Lancs commentators were struggling to control themselves at the end. Blackpool came from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 and then had two players sent off. United missed a penalty that supposedly should never have been and then scored a leveller in the 99th minute by just taking the Blackpool keeper out. Then there was a punch up after the end with Fotheringham flattened Lavery and for some reason the ref sent both of them off.

Sheffield thugs and cowards as referees.

It makes me happy to see Burnley above the scum of Sheffield and they have been like that for years.

Only one team has lost more games than us this season, yet we are only a point off the top. The division is wide open, there doesn’t seem to be any real standout sides and the promotion spots are there for the taking. I’m praying things click soon and we can find some consistency, or rather we can gain points more consistently, More of what we saw in the first half today and it could be a good season!

To be fair the two sendings off were just 2 stupid bookings. I’d blame the players. 
 

The penalty may have been.
 

However the equaliser is a barge on the keeper 9 times out of 10, then 3 blades are offside blocking his view.

Then Laverty gets sent off for being thrown to the floor.

Sack Bruce and immediately WBA win away from home against 4th placed Reading. Doesn't really surprise me. Bruce is done

If West Brom can get Dyche then it would be an outstanding appointment.

Most people thought Wilder was outstanding appointment for Boro and look at how that turned out or Bruce at WBA. 

All depends how players take to Dyche and whether his style of management works at that level.

Might not work out, that’s football, but here and now it would be a very good appointment for a club in WBA’s position.

We need to further strengthen in January and go for it.

A good left back, winger and centre forward and it’s not such a bad squad.

Regarding our failure to win once we go behind. In todays paper it states that Forest have not won any of their last 40 top flight games after conceding the first goal.

On another issue entirely - there were 27,608 fans at Ipswich yesterday to see them lose 1-0 to Lincoln City. 37,060 at Sunderland and 28,458 at Sheff Utd.

I agree, it will be interesting who teams like Hull, Boro and WBA appoint as the next managerial appointment, surprise some have taken so long to make one in all fairness.

Ipswich had a pack Portman road initiative going on and are flying in L1 at the moment, so not a surprise to see the attendance high for yesterday's match. By the sounds of it they were extremely unlucky. Something like 33 shots to Lincoln's 3 and lost 1-0. A proper FM scoreline.

They also dont have half a dozen clubs all vying for their support and attract a much larger hard core in a slighlty more affluent area. But carry on defending the club on every possible angle as usual.

Birmingham beating Hull 2-0 near the end of the game.Troy Deeney missed a penalty that was so high it probably landed in the North Sea.

Interesting to see Birmingham play Burnley on Wed then us at the weekend,let Burnley rough them up then we can have a go at them on Sat

I don't think I ever said the ridiculous prices, or we had abysmal sales either. I think the sales are decent enough and more than last season. So, its an improvement on last season. Hopefully we are still top 6 when half season tickets go on sale then we see a decent uptake by Rovers fans. 

Like I have said to yourself last week my meeting was Waggott wasn't about ST sales as I kept my meeting to what I emailed about. I also suggested you could email the club and ask Waggott for a meeting but instead you rather complain on scoreboard and do nothing about it at all apart from sit back and what others do it.

But they then turn that glancey eyed meeting of no substance into a stick to beat down the rest of us mere mortals. I will not engage with Swag because I don’t respect him or the job he is doing. His remit is not to increase crowds, so why would I waste my time?

You don’t think they are daft prices? 8,500 STs is not abysmal? Then why did you bang on about how you were going to discuss your plans for ticket sales all week before you went to meet him? He dazzled you with a load of goss and ergo you enjoyed an afternoon at the club, your agenda firmly in your pocket as a result. It is the likes of Glen that can actually get something out of a canny operator like him. You were out of your depth unfortunately.

I was actually trying to give you credit! That you actually realised that our crowds urgently need sorting. But hey ho, lesson learnt. I’ll just let you carry on in your role as club spokesman…

You said ridiculous prices not daft prices firstly Matty. It was improved on last season. which is start and we need to carry on growing the fan base and getting more people in like more under 16's. 

Why don't you email the club for meeting with Waggott to discuss the ST problems that you have with them instead continue to complain on here and at other people who have meetings with Waggott in the past? why don't you make some effort to discuss them with the Waggott?

I’ll point you to my first paragraph in my previous post as to why. Get a new CEO in, one with an actual remit and plan to grow crowds and I may just do that.
