The only team I want relegated are the pie eaters. Ever since that ex dingle Cook was manager and slagged us off at every opportunity I’ve hated them.

Ventured on to a Sunderland forum for a look at the feeling. It’s absolutely fucking superb. Threads on the “death spiral” that they’ve heard about from both us and Coventry. Then arguments over whether it’s his fault or lack of transfer activity.

They've seen nothing yet!

They think it's because they don't have a striker. Wait till Tony starts signing multiple midfielders, plays them up front and sticks Ross Stewart at fullback.

I always thought Mowbray was better with a small budget and when given money he went a bit batshit. If Sunderland spend big in Summer, they're screwed. Their fans won't stand by and watch a journey to nowhere unfold.

Hull 2 WBA 0 ....................  with 30 mins to go.

Good result for our play off hopes if it stays like that.

Yep, bad loss that. 5th successive away defeat for them.

I thought WBA were on to do a Forest style assault on promotion like last season but they're stuttering a fair bit lately. So much so that Hull themselves are only 3 points behind them....

The death spiral is impressive in its consistency.

How does he do it year on year, club by club??

I'm curious as to how he explains it away at interviews. Do the interviewers even ask about it? The pattern is so obvious that you'd be negligent not to, and yet...

If jdt leaves. My choice would be robbins.  The job he's done at Coventry is amazing

He is doing a great job

Do you know if his style is similar to JDTs?

It surely can’t be deliberate but at the same time it must be to be so consistent…
