JacknOry Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Think JDT had a look at him and thought best to take him off. Think the lad was knackered as well. Good performance overall though. Quote

Livermore was bossing the Ref all game too. He probably decided the amount of ET. Thug got beaten though. 1 Quote

Blue blood Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Tough win against 12 men. Makes up for COVID & sickness bug this week. JDT is a magician. Getting a tune out of Gally, has us winning games, what a guy! This shows our need for squad depth but then we all knew - and Lord JDT himself said - we need more players. 2 Quote
rigger Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 One thing that comes out of today. Annesley and Saadi are nowhere near good enough for the first team. Get rid and let someone else have a go. 1 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Time to screenshot the table to the Dingle aquaintances 4 Quote

Popular Post AllRoverAsia Posted August 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) It's been 34 years since Rovers last won the first 3 games of a league season. Well done JDT and all at Rovers. Edited August 14, 2022 by AllRoverAsia 23 Quote
lraC Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 The nerves are frayed right now, but wow just brilliant that. Phillips superb, as was Buckley and both goals were quality. The little triangles we have started in every area of the pitch, are so good on the eye. Its so satisfying to see us sat at the top on maximum points, even at this early stage. Today was a big test and we stood up to it. With two away games to come, especially with Saturdays opponents, if we are still top after that, it will be game well and truly on. 3 Quote
roverandout Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) These players listen to what jdt tells them. They probably ignored Mowbray in the dressing room and on the touchline Edited August 14, 2022 by roverandout Quote
TimmyJimmy Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 West Brom were a good side, one touch give and goes, power, hard running, lots to admire. To beat them today, wow just WOW. 3 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 14, 2022 Moderation Lead Posted August 14, 2022 Took an absolute bartering after they scored and were wasteful in possession after that to say the least. Absolutely relieved to get the win, but with the injuries, it highlights our need for new faces in a big way. Otherwise, it’s good to see us play with such purpose, I really like the endeavour of Sznmodics and we absolutely need to keep Ayala fit and firing. Guy was a man mountain today! JDT’s blue and white army! 3 Quote

The foul didn’t really play into the goal. As the corner was played in he was marked by Travis. He blatantly elbowed Trav in the head on the far post. Should have stopped the play there. We won the header, it fell to Diangana Ash closed him down and it deflected in. Nothing TK could do about it. Quote

We need bodies though as it is amazing we are down to midfielders at RB and fbs at CB already and Ayala is not one of the casualties. Even he had strapping on thigh. More alarmingly Kaminski had strapping on his neck. Quote
