ItsRoverZ Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Garret looks a real player, as does A Wharton , I'd be happy with them providing back up this season in midfield 4 Quote

Sweaty Gussets Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Terrific win that, and great for the young un's confidence. JDT is god again...until Saturday.😉 2 Quote

What was Mowbray's record? Don't think there's too many more who are close to making their debuts as things look at the mo. Maybe Batty later in the season. Burns late in the season if he recovers in time but probably not. I suppose if the next round is 'easy' or the FA Cup draw is 'easy' we might see one or two more. Quote

And I couldn't agree more with the 'under TM, we lose this game'. Properly pleased for those young lads (and Dacky) tonight. 3 Quote

Credit to the lads for getting us into the next round. Looking forward to seeing the draw. Another lower league side hopefully, I want the cup run to go on. Yeah I think some of the youngsters proved they're not as terrible as some think they are. Not likely all of them will make it at Rovers but they definitely put up a good account of themselves. Quote
Armchair supporter supremo Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Can't remember the last time our stats looked like that and with a win to go with it! Congratulations to the young lads and hopefully and Dack😅 (really hope he gets a proper chance back in the starting 11 for league games. Quote

BigBar Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Ye of little faith. Delighted with the win! Congrats to Dacky and Marky! 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Good win, have to say I didn’t expect it. I think Hughes got it wrong and should have pummelled the rovers defence with lots of high balls into box but there you go. Good to be in the draw again after the Mowbray years here’s hoping for a tasty home tie and something for the fans to look forward to 3 Quote
neophox Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Im pretty sure Dack has played himself to a starting place on saturday. Markanday may get an hour... Tyler had a good game in defence. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 surprised bradford did`nt try to terrorise us with the physical stuff and long ball Quote
Popular Post Tyrone Shoelaces Posted August 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 23, 2022 That’s a brilliant result given the side we had to put out. Well done boys. 10 Quote

Mowbray defenders harped on about how he utilised the Academy to it's fullest extent. 2 Quote
robfranlong81 Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Sat in with the Bradford fans. Adam Wharton was my MOTM. When Dack scored he gave a very long hard look at the bench… 1 Quote

Unless we want to go full strength and risk injuries to big players. You get beneath the first XI and this is what you’re left with. 1 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Well done Rovers. JDT is a genius. Quote
Sweaty Gussets Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Burnley took 727 fans to Shrewsbury. We took over 1500 to Bradford. That proves we are twice as big as them. 6 Quote
Ossydave Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Good result, regardless of Bradfords league status, to only concede one with that patched up defence is credit to the lads that played. Sounds like Markanday and Dack did enough to merit some involvement at least at weekend. I'd be starting both especially if Hedges is out still. Sharpe calling JRC out for praise too which is good to see... Quote

harryhealless1928 Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Sensational result considering the team put out. Special mention for Annesley. Cant be easy when you make your debut playing without a recognised defensive partner in the middle and looks like his goal-line block got us into the next round. 5 Quote
