Proudtobeblue&white Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Well it's been a while since we had a "cup run", we'll know shortly who we face next. Threadbare squad, please avoid a biggy, Liverpool away is not what we need! Nice home draw please? Quote

Proudtobeblue&white Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 Well that was sh*te! That's why I don't bet! Quote
Guest Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Well, the run was short but relatively sweet. If nothing else it will help get our eye in for battling all things claret and blue 😉 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 I know WHU haven't started well, but the Dingles get a home draw against Crawley, no luck! Quote
bazza Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 I bet our boys are looking forward to W Ham away. Great experience for them. Quote
TruRover Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 As a london based rover fan I’m buzzing with that… 6 Quote
rigger Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 A new ground for me, what's it called, The London stadium ? Quote
davulsukur Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Let's hope we get some players in/back from injury. Playing that back 4 from last night will be embarrassing against West Ham. Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 Just now, bazza said: I bet our boys are looking forward to W Ham away. Great experience for them. It would be a new ground, but midweek probably, and all games on the tellybox from what's just been said on Sky. Quote
DuffsLeftPeg Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 The 3rd round is strangely not until the week commencing 8th November…hopefully we’ll have a decent back 4 by then! Quote
SuperBrfc Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Rough draw is that. Likely to be televised as there is a chance of West Ham causing an upset. They'll rotate, but that probably means the likes of Scamacca and Cornet start. Not good, but it will be interesting to see how we approach it. 1 Quote
tomphil Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Same team for me if possible keep giving youth a chance. Ticket prices might be interesting down there 😁 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 I don't give a shit about West Spam but losing to Moyes will be hard to take. Quote

Ticket prices might be interesting down there 😁 They price the League Cup quite reasonably by the look of what they charged for Man City last season.. https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2021/september/27-september/last-few-man-city-tickets-available-just-ps10-adults-and 1 Quote
Hullrover Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 So you have enough money left to buy a pint and a piece of confectionary.. Makes Sodexo look like pound shop. https://www.sportbible.com/football/west-ham-premier-league-price-20220820 Quote
arbitro Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 I was hoping for something a bit closer. At the moment a night match in London is a real ball ache if you want to travel on the train. Thanks to the HS2 farce there is no longer an 11 pm train back to Manchester. It looks like a long drive then and the vagaries of our wonderful motorways. Quote
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 This must be the first southern based cup tie we’ve had for several years. Quote
joey_big_nose Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) Wow this game isn't until 8th of November! That's ages. Should have (please god) some fit centre halves by then. Quite fancy going down to London. Edited August 25, 2022 by joey_big_nose 2 Quote

As I posted on the Bradford thread my son lives a short walk from the ground so I’ll be there. Another excuse to visit my new granddaughter as well! 1 Quote
